Can’t thank Stanley & band enough for a lovely reimagining of this Garcia-Hunter classic! Brought back memories of more innocent and loving times.
“Let there be songs to fill the air” indeed 🫶🏻
Friend of mine in undergrad turned me on to Stanley in 84 after me following the dead for years. What magical sound to an old heads ears. Like Branford on Sax mixing it up with Jerry. Beautiful ❤
Check out Stanley playing with Phil and friends 11/4/2012 pure heaven.
Very possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
My daughter Cassie was born to this song. Stanley grooving it is sublime. Thanks!!

THE Stanley Jordan??? Playing THE Grateful Dead???!!! I’m not believing what I’m seeing! Jerry’s looking down and grinning!!
He’s been playing some shows as part of Phil Lesh and Friends for the past couple or more years!

My mind is totally blown. Still remember seeing him on Carson in 80's for first time and staring in disbelief at tv. He looks great.
Btw, that singer has the same phrasing and rhythm as Jerry.
So many things going on at same time.

😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Singer sounds like Jerry!
Tasty.
Chicago show
Step it up , your dragging !
The drummer is struggling with the laid back tempo on this one. Otherwise, it sounds beautiful!
I see these top guitarists lists from time to time and people who should be in the top 50 or 25 or whatever just are not there--I see a lot of no names.... Everyone used to day Hendrix was the greatest.... Well, this guys style of playing skill cancels Hendrix right away... The biggest amazement of Hendrix was he took a right handed guitar and turned it upside down and learned to play it that way left handed... That was the amazement at that time....
Once I saw jerry play watchtower and I knew at that point he was the best
Disagree, Hendrix was way more than just turning the guitar upside down. The amount of guitarists who would disagree would
be quite substantial. Stanley Jordan kicks ass no doubt , extremely talented . Don't need to compare the two. Both Hendrix and Jordan
are amazing.
Jesus, and here I'd thought the DEAD played it too slowly...
This tempo flows nicely
You listen too fast.
