There is no region called Kurdistan in Turkey. It is the southeastern Anatolian region. Kurds, who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, constitute a significant part of the population in the region. You are giving wrong information. Military checkpoints are not for isolation. it is for security. especially for the safety of Kurdish citizens. because pkk terrorist organization killed more than 40000 citizens and unfortunately most of them are innocent Kurds. Kurds are free to speak their own language in their daily lives. but the republic of turkey has only one official language . It is Turkish. For example, close to 3,5 million Turks live in Germany, but the official language of Germany is German.
Hello Mustafa, Thank you for your clarification on the topic. I’m sorry if we got something wrong, we try our best in transporting, what we learn on the road. We learned that that Kurdish language is not taught in school. You are right in Germany, German is the official language but this doesn’t mean that you can not learn Turkish, English, French or Russian in school as well. We know this is a sensitive topic, we are well aware that there is no official region called Kurdistan, we referred to the region and to the people we met. We do know that PKK is a terrorist organization which killed many of innocent people. And that check points are the best way of protecting the citizens. We will try to correct this part to fit better to the reality and avoid misunderstanding.Thank you again for your comment!
@@Thebluelandy thank you for your understanding. Please allow me to clarify one more point. I recommend that you confirm from different sources when commenting on such matters. such misleading information is used to create the image of the western public that there are anti-democratic practices against Kurdish citizens in Turkey. The purpose of this is to divide Turkey. But this will not happen. Turks and Kurds have lived and will live in peace for hundreds of years. *Kurdish is one of the languages that can be learned in schools in Turkey. In year 2021-2022, over 20,265 students preferred to learn Kurdish as an optional language.
