They came from the x factor from the uk. And the band members were perrie edwards, leigh anne pinnock, jade thirlwall and former member jesy nelson.

They won X-factor 2011 (the year after One Direction). They entered as soloists, but Kelly Rowland put them together as a group. Their journey is well worth a watch.

They were on the X factor uk 2011 (the year after one direction) & they were the 1st group to ever win the X factor! I hope to see u react to more Little Mix ❤

This is kind of a rant and I may go a little off topic but here are my own opinions on little mix. I was always a casual fan but I think they deserved much more international recognition for the quality in music and quality of voices they have. They all have super strong voices, so many people talk about Perrie's vocals and yes, she had the widest range and power from day 1 but the rest have grown so much as well. I heard of them back in 2018 when a toxic fan was comparing a Kpop girl group's fanbase that I love with little mix's fanbase and basically talking trash. From what I've heard, lot of people blame management and their record label for their "inability to have their breakthrough in the west" and then they bring in fifth harmony to the mix why they were able to gather more attraction compared to little mix. its all a huge mess when you look into these things on reddit or X. I was never a huge fan of girl groups, the first girl groups I actually started keeping up with were Kpop girl groups. But I find myself watching little mix performances and interviews from a couple years ago. They were strong performers too, lots of passion

React to Leigh Anne’s solo music please. She is to me has the best music and doing great steering away from the generic pop and getting away from the LM sound giving her separate personality. Her debut song was DSL which is my least favorite but her second single is my love which is great. Her EP has the best songs imo. Stealing love, Forbidden Fruit, OMG, Anticipate, I’ll still be here and nature. Sorry for the long comment
