Thanks a lot for watching and safe journeys!
It's great that you present real travelling, and not just most obvious sights. Attention on details of structures is admirable. And telling about the prices giving valuable information, thanks!
That kid at the end of the video was so cute..."are you TH-camr?" and then ran to get his phone!! Nice...haha
I enjoy Gabriel's videos as he never makes it about himself, the focus of it is always about the sights, people, architecture, etc of where he is. This is what make him the best.
Totally, you pointed out the key.
Yes - totally without ego.
The room at chefcheouen has really a fascinating art and this country has a great diversity of surroundings as your bus ride while rolling through the landscape, was absolutely a phenomenal.
We Moroccans spend our vacations in the north cities Chefchaouen (blue city), Tetouan (white city), Assilah on the coast and of course Tangier and don't forget Rabat (take the high speed train from Tangier), these are the best, they are cleaner and people don't bother you like other places.
Your country is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and mysterious.
@@loboblue5441 yes Morocco has something magical. I would love to visit Morocco one day. Maybe already in spring.
@@Andrij_Kozak welcome anytime.
Greetings from Texas. I have been intrigued by your country for many years. It is so beautiful and exotic--rich with history. I am loving these Moroccan videos that Gabriel is putting out--some day I would like to visit all the places that you have mentioned.
Thanks for the top tips
I swear! I don't get enamored but too many people, but you are my hero. You are living life! You understand the real meaning of life. Never stop. Blessed travels, always!
you can also go from Fez to Chefchaouen through the Kif Mountains and the vast Marijuana farms
Morocco is beautiful. I am enjoying the tour. Thanks !!
Thank you! And you're welcome.
Gabriel showing his meals always makes me feel hungry they always look so good definitely a highlight of his videos.
Me too😂
This guy is a real traveller, not just a TH-camr visiting the same old sites that all the others feature.
rather than showing main attractions you always show the real in of that place , that's the reason i've subscribed to your channel !
Definitely a different crowd! Morocco is very diverse and the experiences will be different! Enjoy!
I am so excited to see your video posts. You are so informative, detailed and enthusiastic on your travel experiences. I dislike when people do travel logs and all we see is the person face. You balance it out with shots of scenery and information on the countries. Plus we see your face which is very nice. Thank you for putting quality content out. Im hoping to travel to Egypt next year. I've been to a few countries and hopefully I will see more. God willing
That soup at the end is a chefchaoun specialty. Bissara.
👍👍👍
North Morocco's speciality in general
It was hella good, I got it a few more times.
Not really, it's in most cities of Morocco: Marrakech, Agadir, Fez, Oujda...It's a soup made from pounded green dried beans with olive oil, salt, and paprika added on top if you choose to. you can eat it with a spoon or bread and a cup of hot tea. It's one of the Moroccan breakfasts the labor people eat on their way to work early morning, especially in the wintertime since it keeps the body warm. It's reasonably cheap and healthy too.
Gabe how I’m loving your Morocco series. Thanks for these awesome videos!
I love it that you always show what you’re eating. That’s kinda the highlight of your videos for me LOL. Foody in the house 😜
Excellent.
7:30 Looks like southern Utah. Very similar. Cool music.
When we were there in 2019, we watched Morocco play Argentina in a cafe in Chaoen, just like you. Great memories.
Gabriel , you’ve certainly pulled out all the stops with this Moroccan series , absolutely captivating . A true traveler indeed !
The concept of MADRASA in medieval Morocco is very similar to the ACADEMIA (Ἀκαδημία) of Hellenic Greece
The tajines at the end of the video called Tagra
They are very popular in the north and they're used in different culinary preparation especially for fish
Tanjra*
@@emmasano7604 Tanjra in darija means pot :)
THIS IS A FABULOUS VIDEO. We love your hotel and your amazing footage of Chefchaouen. THANK YOU. GREAT JOB.
$ 22 per night at the riad in Fez. Wow....that is very cheap! The place where your bus did stop for 30 minutes is a resting place which does exist across all of Morocco. It is used for long distance buses, and it has a restaurant, bathroom, etc...
And I paid 6€ can stay there 4 months 😄
@@highlo9980 6 euros for one night?? 😂 😂 Are you drinking somehow?! There's no way in the world you can get a room at such price. Even a camp is more expensive!!
@@annukimuni3389 yes tea in fez there was a hostel for 6 or 7 8 € per night
And I found it through connection yall heard
interesting to see what the architecture is like in Morocco, looks very nice.
love your excitement as you spot the castle and tower......
Beautiful town, wow dinner looks delicious!
Don't forget to Visit Akchour, it is close to Chefchaouen ❤️🇲🇦
Seems there's a few well known van dwellers arriving and travelling round Morocco...but nobody covering such fascinating towns or buildings as viewed on here....unique style...real life...real people...
the van life youtubers are mostly rich kids playing a game ( most of their vans cost tens of thousands of dollars alone). I've seen very few who are really travelling properly and I've met a fair few in morocco in the last few months. despite having plenty of money they are normally very ungenerous and dont stay in hotels etc so the locals arent happy about them
@@captainkavi Gabriel is without ego too. That's why I like his videos. Facts and figures and beautiful places. I love all the costs included too.
One of my new favorite channels!👍 Bald and bankrupt, haraldo baldr, Johnny FD and Gabriel #1 for travel and outstanding content...
As much as I love Chefchaouen, I think that Essaouira is the most magical place in Morocco
Love your channel man…long time watcher…always stoked to get another G.T. Episode🤙🏻
The food looks delicious and what a great colourful hotelroom. Enjoy your stay!
That room was siiiiick dude! Hope you're enjoying the Moroccan tea! Don't know if you're still down there, but if you need a good soundtrack for a long bus ride through the Saharah, check out the albums 'Imarhan' and 'Temet' by a band called Imarhan. The journey will fly by, trust me. Sadly you can't use it in your videos due to copyright. Happy travels!
Thanks for the tip, found them on Spotify, I'll give it a listen.
Wow Gabriel looks amazing, looks tasty! Thank you for showing us the beautiful city! Stay safe! 😊❤
Was there in the late 90 and boy thing’s was cheap then. Me and a buddy had a room for 20 dir right in the middle of the old town area, had a perfect view over the city as well. It’s one bar there, maybe more now 🍺 a smoke 3,5dir😬😬 love that town, Ashila is also a beautiful town, much cleaner than most off Morocco 😎
Thanks Gabriel! I like your videos they are very informative. I am visiting Morocco next month and your videos will be my main source
From fields and farmland to the markets of the old city.
Epic video dude. 🌴
Awesome video 👌 food looks so delicious 😋 thanks SO much Gab for showing us round ✌ 🙏 🇨🇮☘

Awesome Moroccan series.. great work Gabriel 👍
Fell in love with this new town
Gabe, you need business cards with your youtube and web url and a qr code which is directing people directly to your channel.
Thank you for showing HOW to get to Chefchaouen. Other Morocco travel videos just start the video there and I’m like, “I know you didn’t just magically teleport”
Hi Gabriel, It's good to get out of those crowded cities a change of pace from what you have been experiencing looks interesting so far the shops were well lit so people can shop around I thought that most of that would be closed off but it's early evening. You know so much to be made of regarding the pandemic and I see many people walking and doesn't appear to be a big concern.
In morocco almost 80 % of person arr vaccinated so that they don't wear the mask
Sometimes you will find a green pea soup instead bean soup, and it's also delicious, we call it metaphorically in Morocco, the cold medicine :)
I like stained glass windows of your new room. Ten dollars for a 5 hour bus ride seems very reasonable. Cannot wait to see what you discover next.
Very reasonable when you earn western world salary in Euro or Dollars, I bet for locals it's rip off
@@_____J______ it's not , we definitly do not earn usd or euro but still working people in morocco earn enough money to afford a 10usd train or a bus ticket , we do have a slighlty higher wages than eastern european countries ,so a 10 dollars ticket here is like a 40 dollars ticket in the us , it's not cheap but it's affordable.
@@walidkaebori140 احسنت الرد يا ولد بلادي رود البال لي التعاليق جالسين يكرهو ناس في المغرب انا لا اعرف كيف ارود عليهم بالغة الإنجليزية

To answer your question at 9:35. It is another of the typically fabulous highway rest stops in Morocco.🙂
you can almost feel the buzz in the air!
Good to be outta Fez. Now you don't have to kindly tell a hustler to Fez-off!
Oh how I wish that was the end of that. :)
I was born an raised in Fes, that city is very poor with almost non existent work opportunities for young people, thus you can find these mostly drug addicts ( pot) trying to get money to buy some drugs, I would suggest anyone who wants to visit Fes to get an official guide or get a friend to have a good time in Fes.
@@qibbou1 Sam, thank you for your kind and thoughtful response. I have a bit if PTSD and the idea of someone grabbing me or getting into my face gets my blood pressure up. Love & Light to you!
@@georgemckinnon7134 I completely understand, it bothers me to see these tourists being hustled constantly by false tourists guides.
Gabriel, you do a great job of navigating the hustlers with respect and safety. Your discussion of hustlers vs scammers in an early Meknes video was really well done and showed your understanding of the economic imbalance. Those guys in Fes were trustworthy... we shouldn't get put off by appearances.
Your videos ara fantastic!!!!! Heading there in a month, cant wait!!!!!
Cool, have a nice trip.
What a great video. Thanks for sharing. Love the kid at the end practising his English and asking if you are a TH-camr.
Wow morroco looks good BEUTEFUL chefchauan

I’m not very good with history but this architecture is very similar to the Alcazar in Seville.
ALcazar was built by Moroccans. Alcazar القصر is an arabic word means Palace
The route is like a desert. I keep telling people the best time to visit Morocco is February to may.
Best time is not to visit at all.

Yeah I definitely need to visit Morroco.
very cool vid.
Very interesting walk thru
been here 7 times great place....smokers paradise :-)
3:40 what a trip thru time!
Calculate that 20-30% of all expenses during your trip go to hustlers who by force basically take your money which can go to other benefits. Also count 20-30% on all food that you pay extra for being a tourist. so all in all, there is nothing cheap in morroco for tourists
Menus are the same for everyone and u can say NO to hustlers & there is nothing they can do about it. he's attracting attention because of the cameras
Wen did he 30%for food cos his a tourist??
Someday I'll visit Morocco
Where was that first building with the carvings please? I missed the name/place?
The Bouanania madrasa in the medina of Fez.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos thanks very much, really enjoying your videos too
Old Fez, which was founded in 808 AD, and the new city, which was founded in 1276 AD, and includes nearly 100 mosques, including Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, which contains one of the oldest libraries in the world. Being a distinguished historical city, the following are some of the city's tourist attractions:[6] Tanneries: The city of Fez is famous for the production of leather as well as for its tanning. Among these traditional tanneries, Shawarra tannery, and the city still practices the traditional methods of leather production and tanning, which date back to the Middle Ages, Where the skins are exposed to strong sunlight, and the basins are filled with many dyes made of turmeric, poppy, mint and indigo. It is worth noting that pigeon dung is used to soften the leather before starting to dye it. Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque: Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque is located in the old city and Al-Qarawiyyin University is the oldest university in the world and was built in the eighth century. One of the oldest and most important libraries in the world. The Bouanani School: It was built during the rule of the Marinids, as it is a historical Islamic college. Precious marble sparkles. Dar Al Batha: The Dar Al Batha Palace is located in the old city, and was converted in 1915 into a museum, as it includes many artifacts, wood carvings, Moroccan tiles, and a collection of ceramics dating back to the fourteenth century, in addition to a wonderful garden that was built Andalusian style, and there are many plants in it, mosaics, and a water fountain. This palace is characterized by giant doors made of brass and gold, and is surrounded by works made of zellij tiles and carved cedar wood, in addition to mosaics.
Yo Gabe, just a curious question, hope you don't mind!
How often are you getting food poison or a real "shitty" stomach?
As many trawlers/tourist are getting ill!
Never gotten food poisoning, occasional stomach issues but nothing too serious.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Wow, lucky you! It's so stressful to travel and have to worry about food poisoning! But I suppose that you have been use to many different bacteria and shit through the years of travelling!
loved it gabriel
Yes in medina hotel u rent cheap room, if you only want a bed. But if you take a 4- 5 star hotel is much more to pay. Up to 3.000 dhs for one night. Can start from around 800 dhs one night. And not very good service. Room service can be bad. No fruit in room, often not even a blottle of water. And no free coffee and tea like we get in Europe in this 4- 5 star hotel.
I'm not sure you're at the Chefchaouen Medina in the video. The Medina, old district is on other side of town. You're by the Mosque.
Are you sure? I went through one of the gates into the old town. That's why it was so crowded. I was there for a week and didn't hear about some other part of town to visit. Everything to see was inside that area where I had dinner at the end. There was the castle, the blue lanes, restaurants, shops, tourists, the whole shebang, surrounded by old walls. But maybe I missed something.
Did that kid come back with his phone for your TH-cam channel information?
Yep. He was from Meknes, the city I visited previously.
Morocco is so beatiful but to hot for me thank for The travel video Gabriel 👍 😀
Excellent music selection!
Sweet.
Hi
You make tour in medina fes when it was empty.
Have goud journey!
Enjoyable video, but not really about "how expensive is Morocco" except you mention the cost of bus fair, your room, and a meal. Was hoping for a more in depth report about the general costs of traveling there as I'm a budget traveler and plan to head over in another 6 weeks from a five weeks stay.
Dear future tourists of Morocco : please before coming, try to do a research about Morocco, its geography, history, cities, weather, architecture, monuments, cits to visit, prices... everything ! I hate when i saw a person came from another part of world and he has no idea about the country he's visiting, this is a shame !
Do a plan from a to z before travelling !
Totally agree 👍
Hi I’m in Tangier now.
Any guides or tour companies out there as a recommendation please mate ..?
