The rechargeable blower is a great alternative for someone like me! I’ve got semi disabled hands and barely have strength to squeeze the rocket blower. It’s more expensive but well worth the investment if it saves me time and pain 🙏🏼
That’s a really great point! It’s a much easier process for anyone who may have issues with the movements or strength needed for the rocket blower! Thanks for bringing it up!
i bought the Arsenal 2 after seeing your recomandation , but after i bought it i found alot of bad reviews on it and now im trying to get a refund ...ppl saying its not doing what they promot ,can you tell us about your experence ?
A bit of an oddball item - TrailPix Ultralight tripod. It’s really for long distance or multi day hiking. Uses your trekking poles as part of the setup (2 legs) and a foldable pole as the third leg. It’s super light - that’s the “selling” feature. I’ve taken it on 4-8 day coastal hikes to allow me to take long exposures of waterfalls and water features.
That’s very cool! I’ve never used legit trekking poles but I have definitely used my tripod to help in their place. I had never thought of it the other way!
The Atoll is something I just heard about last week. I was like, wow, that is a great idea. Some of the reasons were obvious, like replacing L mounts, eliminates some of the drawbacks of L mounts, useful for lenses that have no collar, etc. I never even thought about that low angle thing, I never bother to use that setup on my tripod due to the upside down camera just feels so awkward. I would totally use it like this, I love low angles. I just checked the KS, it's now over 160K! People definitely are excited for it, I can't wait to get at least one of them. I actually reached out to the company on FB to ask if in the future they plan to make one that will also work on a camera that has a grip mounted to it, since it looks as though you can remove the main pieces from the base piece that attaches to the camera. They said they would like to, and it will depend on how much support they get. Hopefully they have enough now.
Just ordered one, its going to come real handy for my real estate shoots! The one drawback of my 3 axis leveler is that I can't tilt my camera 90 degrees like I can with a ball-head. I was thinking about a cage, glad I found the Atoll first! When shooting a home speed is king, so this just looks so perfect.
The Atoll looks really cool! Only drawback I can immediately see is that it's not compatible with a 'nodal rail' or 'panorama rail'. On those rails, the Arca-Swiss connection is perpendicular to how the Atoll connects. If they made the Atoll base more square-ish like the Falcam/PD quick release plate, it would work both ways. Maybe something you can suggest to them...
My biggest question would be, Does Silence Corner Atoll work well for vertical gimbal usage (long term)? And is it lighter than a cage, I use small rig w/ A7iii
It was a smallrig multi tool just for photography. Check it out here → geni.us/photographytool I featured it in a previous accessories video → th-cam.com/video/F9S516-5vok/w-d-xo.html

There's a lot of mixed feelings about that product and I've been looking at it since the first one that came out but I wanted to hear your thoughts about the other features as well as showing us it would be much appreciated 🙏 💯. Keep up with yhe great work!!!
The Falcam and Atoll both look like must have’s for quick use with tripods and gimbals, any clue if they work well in conjunction? I’d like to get both, but if I need to remove the Atoll to use with my DJI RS3 then it defeats the purpose in certain situations. Thanks!
That would beat the point of photography though, taking the process out of the process. All the other features though look neat if don't mind a dongle on your camera

The f22 system is cool too! It’s more for attaching accessories to the camera rig. It works best with their cage too. Definitely recommended though, as long as you’re willing to get all the way into the system.

Ooh that’s tough to know. I have had my heaviest lenses on there but I don’t think any of them are quite that big. You may be able to still use the collar on that lens depending on the placement.
I hear some seriously conflicting reviews on the Arsenal2. Does this thing really work well now? Or will the unit constantly need to be reset? They have raised the price to a point where I would be expecting near perfection for the price of the unit.
Many of my accessories are just little things to help me be a little more organized, or at least less encumbered with all the "stuff" that I have to use. A lot of it isn't even photography-related. The first thing on my list is the Black Rapid tripod jacket. This thing is awesome. You can put as much or more in this as you would in a small camera bag. I wish they'd alter its design just a bit, to make it easier to attach tautly to different types of tripods, but that's the only negative thing I can say about it. I've placed direct-step step-up rings on my most commonly used lenses to make them 77mm, so that if I switch lenses I can just just keep switching lens caps and not have to putz around looking for the right one. It also means carrying only one ring adapter with my square filter system. What few circle filters I have are 77mm, so they're instantly usable on all those lenses. Heavy duty, woven velcro straps with carabiner clips for stroller handles. These are excellent for wrapping around the tripod legs so that you can clip anything you want quick access to right there on the tripod. Reflective tape and glow in the dark tape. Since I do primarily nighttime photography, these are invaluable for putting on gear to increase its visibility in the dark. I've put it on almost EVERYTHING, including the inner and outer surfaces of my front and rear lens caps. Nite Ize bottle opener with flat blade. The flat blade is a much better size for the screws that are on most arca and dovetail plates. The bottle opener needs no explanation. And it clips right onto the aforementioned velcro strap with carabiner. I've got one on each tripod. Multicolored velcro cord minder straps. With nighttime photography there are so many moving parts of what you're trying to do, the multicolor straps allow you to devise your own color code to help you keep your cords straight so you know what's going to what. And lastly, Crown Royal bags. They make nice lens pouches, stuff sacks, etc. You can buy those cord pincher thingies so that you can cinch the bags closed. Just ask the bartender at your favorite watering hole to save you the bags - they probably just throw them away.
The Atoll looks really neat! I already have the Spider holster mount attached to the bottom of my camera - and I love the Spider belt setup. Is there a way to use the Atoll with the Spider system?

Did you have an issues with dust being blown onto the sensor with that blower? I’m on the fence but I feel like all it’s going to take is a piece of grit in there to lead to an expensive repair…
Thanks for the video. I'm always recommending the Peak Design one to everyone, cause it's one of my best investments ever when it comes to camera accessories. But as you say, that Ulanzi thing seems to bring the concept even further. Nice.
i initially just wanted to try the Falcam quick release plate for my gimbal. but now i have totally moved 100% to the system. i really love it! ! cheap and really nice build. trust me it's worth every penny !
It’s my understanding that the atoll doesn’t support the lens, so if you mount to the atoll your mount holds the weight like before. If the lens has a mount then of course that mount will take the weight.
Man Dunna! These videos of yours now scare me! Mainly cause of how good the various products are and I end up burning a hole in my wallet for getting them!!
An issue with the Ulanzi Falcam F38 Quick Release system: While the plates and bases on the outer side are arca compatible, the slots are not. What this means in practice: if you have a cage or bracket (eg.: SmallRig) you won't be able to insert it into the F38. This is not stated clearly in any product description. But it is easy to see if one compares the profiles of the inserts, regular arca plates have a taller straight base below the drafted parts of the wedges If you by the whole system and use it solely it's gona be okay, just don't expect full arca compatibility.
@@dunnadidit Yes. I've bought the base and plate kit. And thought I could convert via it a ball head that is velbon proprietary to arca compatible by screwing the falcam base on the velbon plate. Unfortunately the F38 base doesn't accept all arca compatible plates. The issue is that the F38's dovetail and slot cross section is thinner that the original arca. This way other arca slots can accept F38 dovetails, but not vice versa
Okay I see what you’re saying. I guess I just never expected it to work that way since most specific quick releases don’t work that way, the work in arca swiss heads, but don’t accept arca swiss necessarily. But it would be cool if it were somehow cross compatible every which way. I don’t even know if that’s possible without it literally just being arca swiss haha.
Dunna, should look at comments on Arsenal 2 before recommending it, personally still waiting for delivery. Have you actually used the finished product. Also F38 plate will not work with PeakDesign Tripod 🤬.
Yeah actually I waited on recommending it for a long time because when I originally got to try it, the software was still pretty buggy but they’ve improved it a lot now to the point where I really enjoy using it for the things I mentioned in the vid. As for the f38 on the peak, I pulled those two little screws out of the top of the peak tripod to slap in the f38 base. I just taped the two screws to one of the legs so I wouldn’t lose them. Workarounds… but they work haha.

Would have been nice if the blower baby had heated air so I could dehumidify my lens if needed. I hate having to reach for the hair dryer.
Ooh interesting thought.
Thank you!
Atoll doesn't appear centered for Olympus OMD cameras otherwise would be a good addition.
The best rocket blower is made by rangers. Rubber tip with a thin hole so you get more pressure out of it
I have a different squeeze blower that doesn't slip
PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW THE SONG IN THE BACKGROUND I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Man Dunna! These videos of yours now scare me! Mainly cause of how good the various products are and I end up burning a hole in my wallet for getting them!!
Haha 😂 you need me to recommend a good wallet too?
@@dunnadidit 😂 believe it or not I just got a new one
An issue with the Ulanzi Falcam F38 Quick Release system:
While the plates and bases on the outer side are arca compatible, the slots are not.
What this means in practice: if you have a cage or bracket (eg.: SmallRig) you won't be able to insert it into the F38.
This is not stated clearly in any product description.
But it is easy to see if one compares the profiles of the inserts, regular arca plates have a taller straight base below the drafted parts of the wedges
If you by the whole system and use it solely it's gona be okay, just don't expect full arca compatibility.
Thanks for sharing! I’m not sure I fully understand though. Are you saying that you can’t use other arca Swiss plates in the f38 base?
Bongo ties are perfect. I lost my first wife to a bundle of bongo ties.
You might be right
That batter charger is hottttt
Cool video
Atoll is slick, had to back that! I knew watching this video would make my wallet lighter...Thanks Dunna lol
Haha sorry… er… your welcome!
🔥
Baterry charger looked cooled i kinda want it
Dunna, should look at comments on Arsenal 2 before recommending it, personally still waiting for delivery.
