We love to see women supporting other women. "I'm creating boundaries" made me laugh a lot harder than it should have.
But really.. what does it mean?
On Saturday, February 10th I hosted a Galentine's lunch at a local bar for me and my single female friends. Five were able to make it, and I had special cookies made and gave each attendee a goodie bag with Valentine socks, candy and a rose. We all had a great time!
I'm at the age where my Galentines consist of talking about menopause and how getting older sucks. Lol!
The tiny home compound thing - my sister-in-law and I have been talking about this for 35 years 😂

but it tends to work when I say it
If you have a psycho family member(s) you’ll completely understand what “setting boundaries” is. Can also apply to psycho co-workers. Basically, these are people who want to take advantage of you, are overly demanding, unkind in how they engage with you, gaslight you…that kind of stuff. Boundaries…meaning, setting up ‘walls’ to limit their ability to negatively impact you. Sometimes the boundary is completely cutting off from that person (can often currently be referred to as “a toxic person”)

I met Erin Brockovich once. Her law firm was considering buying the firm where I worked. It was before I went to law school. I was low level in the IT department. But she briefly stopped by on her tour of the firm and said hi. Didn't end up buying it though.

Oh!!! Some people on Reddit in Canada are making jokes about Galentine but about the CEO Galen Weston who has a quasi-monopoly on grocery stores and prices are getting insane up here. And people were saying Galentive up here is more like 'can't afford a date on Valentine because it's either that or groceries'.
The good news is that the government is going to start investigating to see if something sketchy is going on to drive up our food prices. A friend of mine sent me a link to the CBC video about it

In my country "valentine's day" literally translated to English means "friends day". So it's funny for me that you need to make a twist for it to make it about friends 😄

I think the way each character makes a statement, then another character makes a totally unrelated statement to follow. I have totally had conversations like these with friends!!!
Yesterday I went to the shops with my gal and she wore a pink top and pink bow scarf in a ponytail ( very barbie meets Sandra d). I wore an Autumn toned scarf wrapped around my head with a small bow on the side ( reminiscent of the we can do it girls from the war era) we were rocking them.
This is why I go out to Olive Garden on Valentine's Day with my hubby.
We're both women, and she moved in with me on February 13th, so we celebrate Galentine's as our actual Valentine's Day. (Which gets us out of the big rush for restaurant reservations.)
My gals and I have pinterest boards of the communes we will build and live in someday!
My best friend had a Groupon pole dancing for all us bridesmaids, and it was the most hilarious thing ever. I love my gals 😍🫂

No. The doctors don't give narcotics with a colonoscopy anymore, so you " awake" alert and feeling depressed. Happened to me and others.

I've had three and never woke up feeling bad. It was just a great nap. Although I have done the prep three different way which is so strange since they have all been with the same doctor. @@marybroderick8265
