Hey Bro, I really like your positive energy.
Just my two cents, if you're going to use the wood block jig, which works great, from my experience, there's a slight downside in it, it tends to leave residue on the connectors, like brownish smoky layer or "soot", which then acts as insulator, I would recommend you drill a slightly larger hole and then wrap your connectors in aluminium foil before inserting them into the wood jig, when you do it this way, your connectors stay shiny and clean, also, just to be safe, wipe them with isopropyl alcohol before & after you do your soldering.

WOW. Ok everyone who has or is watching this. Please forget all you saw. No tinning, and the worst part - take a look at the -ve & +ve he used the same plugs on both!!! This allows an error to be made where all the magic smoke will leave your expensive esc. There should be a plug and socket on the esc with the corresponding same on the battery.

Are those just regular 8mm connectors? Also what amp rating do you think those are rated for? Also, why do regular 8mm bullet vs QS8 or even Sh8.0?

@@rcusa201 You can fit 6AWG welding cable 105 celsuis. The maximum silicone size is 7AWG because the 6AWG silicone is too bushy to fit inside the 8mm bullet.
