That you for the information regarding the locked state. It would be pointless, if you have to unlock the car first.

The interior button to unlatch the trunk next to the wheel, is like when videogame devs make something for the game, and then remove it to sell it to you as DLC. They should have at least allowed you to unlatch the trunk from when you are inside on the LE models
The reason there's no interior button on LE RAV4 is because power liftgate isn't an option for LE RAV4. There is an interior open button on all Rav4s with power liftgates. Hope that helps.

Your toyota rav4 xle 2021 is self opening rear door everytime i start the engine so anoying .

Yeah, we just got a new 2019 RAV4 Hybrid Limited with this feature, and nobody at the dealership could actually get it to work and we’ve only been successful a couple times now.
Honestly, it takes some getting used to. We had a hard time with it until we starting understanding what the sensor was looking for.
Same problem, never worked actually. Idk if the hook in the middle could be a problem for the sensor frankly

Unfortunately, no. That feature is not available for the 2020 XSE model.
lol its a sensor you dont actually have to kick it to make it work lmao.
You would think, but holding your foot under it or waving your foot around the sensor doesn't work. At least not often. The official Toyota demo is a straight kicking motion.
Daughters 2021 RAV4 has power back door. Does this kick sensor has it?
Not all power liftgates include this feature. In this video, Clay said it was included on the limited trim with advanced technology package. I'm not sure what trim levels it was included on in 2021
