Seeing you now with 4 children and the same amazing approach to your family and your life commitments is so inspiring to me as an older woman who has already experienced the school age and growing pain years. In fact I’m sure my daughters are both older than you. As far as the comments regarding your being pregnant, poo to that. Love your videos you’re an amazing mama! We’re a family of 5, the only laundry solution that worked for us was assigning everyone a day. So on Mondays I wash all my boys clothes. Tuesday my daughters and so on. I have a day just for towels and I rotate each week someone else’s sheets. This worked so the basket of clothes is just for one room, I’m not going room to room putting stuff away. All in all doing laundry with littles is just a lot! It’s never ending. You’re doing a great job and you will find the perfect system that works for your family. ❤
If your laundry room is big enough, could you have a hanging rail? You could wash, dry, hang what you can and fold the rest in baskets. Leave it in the laundry room so it’s out of sight until you’re ready to put away.
I had my second child and about six months later dropped my older boy at a party and so many people asked when the baby was due 😂 they were certainly more embarrassed than me when I said I’d had him 6 months ago. I think you look amazing ❤

She took the time teaching us responsibilities as we grew up. We cleaned at an early age. We took care of each other. As an adult I had 2 children 10 years apart and I didn’t have piles of laundry at my home. But you are amazing 😊. I try to do 1 family member at a time laundry day. Or you could try boys laundry day then girls laundry day. Then towels and sheet day. But again little ones do need mama. I teach and have taught 42 years and little ones need their “mama time.” Not sure I helped with an idea. Thanks for your motivation and good spirit 🎉

Hi Becky! We have only 3 kids, but they are in HS, so their clothes are adult size, meaning lots of loads of laundry. I also found the one load a day thing to be insufficient. So, what I now do is I set aside a whole day in the week and that is my laundry day. I clean between loads or just put something on TV that I want to watch and never have the time. It's exhausting. But once it's done, it's done.... til next week! I do find myself running one load during the week for sports uniforms, but there is no avoiding that. ETA: I absolutely was asked when I was due about 2 months after having my twins. I laughed, and they were mortified. Don't let anyone get you down about you perfectly AMAZING body who made 4 human beings that are now out here in the world. THAT is the thing. The fact that YOU created a whole human is enough to excuse the mortal sin of stretch marks and a tummy. ETA #2: I forgot how hectic having a gaggle of small kids is. Maybe my advise above only works with older kids. Thinking back, we were drowning in laundry and every other thing that needed to be done daily. My husband was an enormous help by switching loads, carrying baskets up and down, doing dishes (we didn't have a dishwasher back then), or just straightening up at night when he got home from work and we were all asleep. It was really a lifesaver.
I also have a family of 6. Every night after showers I put a load of socks, underwear, pj’s and school uniforms. I put it all in the dryer before I go to bed. I fold it in the morning after putting on a load of clothes. I also have designated sheet and towel days. I also hang a lot of my things on the washing line and fold it as I’m taking it off, but I do live in Australia so most of our washing goes on the washing line all year round. I do have to say (no judgement) we all have a capsule wardrobe, 1 set of sheets each and 1 towel each with only a couple of extras for emergencies. We also live in a 1300 sqft home. 🇦🇺💞

You are just so motivating, and I seriously feel like I'm 10x more productive on the days I watch your videos/put them on while I'm cleaning. When I wash and that’s every few days for normal clothes I wash ,put them straight into dryer or peg on line . I bring them in or get them out of dryer and put away the same day . That way I’m not feeling overwhelmed come next time . A lot of people seem to let them pile up somewhere, or in a basket or bedroom why. Put them away straight away into draws or wardrobe . Works for me .
1 MONTH after having my baby a neighbor asked if I was pregnant again!!! 🤯🤯 She was a mother of 3. How she asked that question after seeing me with a 1 month old is beyond me 😂😂 People online should keep those comments to themselves because even if you are pregnant, it’s up to you when to announce that on TH-cam!

I’ve been doing my washing and drying. If needed to dry longer I put them on hangers ready to go on my rack. But I have a small load compared to you. But no matter if you’re up to date or not you doing the best you can. Try not beat or overwhelmed yourself up too much and
I constantly have laundry too girl! I have found I usually wash 2-3 loads per day. I have designated days for certain types of laundry. For example every Saturday I was everyone's sheets and work uniforms. Sundays I do the kids clothes & our clothes for the week. Towels are more of an every other or every 3 day thing around here lol

Have you tried not hanging the tops (apart from the ‘good’ ones)? Then when ‘folding’ the washing you can just sort each kids pile into shorts, pants, long sleeves, short sleeves etc and they can just grab each pile and throw it in its designated drawer. Takes away some of the work from you. The older 2 might be at the age where you can just give them a pile of their clothes and they sort it into their drawers themselves. You are doing an awesome job!
I normally throw in a load of laundry as soon as I get home from work in the afternoon. That is my 1 load that I aim to wash, dry, and fold that day. If I need to do another load, I put it in before bed, then throw it in to dry the next morning. If I don’t have time to fold that one, I set it aside. I use the weekends to catch up on those if needed since I have more free time on the weekend!
I do the no-fold method with kids clothes. Clothes de-wrinkle fast from body heat and if I need something de-wrinkled fast I just steam it when I need it. But when kids are just chilling at home, I don't see any issues if they have wrinkled clothes. This saves so much time putting laundry away since you don't have to fold or hang clothes.
I think you do a great job and look great. You have more to be thankful for you are so talented have a great husband 4 beautiful children and a well kept beautiful house and you keep yourself so put togeather all the time As I always say God Bless you are truly blessed.
I will take and about an hour before I go to bed each night I will take and gather all the laundry and throw a load in each night because typically that's when everyone takes a bath and you end up with a load of clothes and then 🎉when I get up in the morning before I do anything I will put clothes in dryer I do this nightly and it works
I had the same problem with the laundry (family of 7) ... the only thing that currently works is: I wash and dry the clothes, then I fold it straight out of the dryer. I don't dry another load if the previous one isn't folded! 😂 Maybe that's an idea for you too! 😊 Plus I think you look great! I got my 5th kid 4 months ago and I look similar. It takes really many, many months to get back to the normal weight but I also don't stress myself here! ❤

If you can minimalize everyone's clothing as much as possible, you'll have more manageable piles to wash. Also, if it's all still too much to hang or fold, you can keep everyone's clothes in a basket and it'll be easy to go through because there won't be many clothes to pile up if its all minimalized. You're doing great though! Hopefully this is helpful.
My rule is dont pull it out of dryer unless it's going to be put away. I have 1 laundry basket and every room has a big hamper. My 9 yr old has been doing her own laundry for a couple years now. She starts washer and puts away. I rotate she is not tall enough yet to reach the bottom of washer. My 3 yr old helps do her laundry too. Everything else has specific days
Maybe one day per person could work - there's 6 of you, and then towels and bedding on the last day. That way you only have to put away clean landry in one room, and almost no sorting.
Hey love. In terms of laundry it might help if you assign certain peoples clothes on certain days. This would require separate baskets but Monday could be for yours and your husbands. Tuesday can be the girls. Wednesday the boys. And Thursday can be extra items like sheets and towels? Just an idea! I hope you find what works for tour family

I have laundry basket in each bedroom and wash only one basket at a time, regardless if it’s full or not. That way you don’t need to sort laundry after it’s done. You can put it directly back into the laundry basket and carry to the room it belongs to and then put it away right away.
Wait anytime soon? Does this mean there will be a baby #5 in the future? 😊 my husband got a vasectomy after our 3rd. 😅 we know we don't want anymore. I'm actually so happy I never have to be pregnant again or give birth 😂 my pregnancies were all horrible and my last birth went from a home birth to an emergency c section. 😢 so yeah no more babies for me!

I will take and about an hour before I go to bed each night I will take and gather all the laundry and throw a load in each night because typically that's when everyone takes a bath and you end up with a load of clothes and then 🎉when I get up in the morning before I do anything I will put clothes in dryer I do this nightly and it works
I had the same problem with the laundry (family of 7) ... the only thing that currently works is: I wash and dry the clothes, then I fold it straight out of the dryer. I don't dry another load if the previous one isn't folded! 😂 Maybe that's an idea for you too! 😊
Plus I think you look great! I got my 5th kid 4 months ago and I look similar. It takes really many, many months to get back to the normal weight but I also don't stress myself here! ❤

If you can minimalize everyone's clothing as much as possible, you'll have more manageable piles to wash. Also, if it's all still too much to hang or fold, you can keep everyone's clothes in a basket and it'll be easy to go through because there won't be many clothes to pile up if its all minimalized. You're doing great though! Hopefully this is helpful.

My rule is dont pull it out of dryer unless it's going to be put away. I have 1 laundry basket and every room has a big hamper. My 9 yr old has been doing her own laundry for a couple years now. She starts washer and puts away. I rotate she is not tall enough yet to reach the bottom of washer. My 3 yr old helps do her laundry too. Everything else has specific days

Maybe one day per person could work - there's 6 of you, and then towels and bedding on the last day. That way you only have to put away clean landry in one room, and almost no sorting.
Why dont you have a morning and evening laundry routine that works for me put one load before bed and in the morning😊
Hey love. In terms of laundry it might help if you assign certain peoples clothes on certain days. This would require separate baskets but Monday could be for yours and your husbands. Tuesday can be the girls. Wednesday the boys. And Thursday can be extra items like sheets and towels? Just an idea! I hope you find what works for tour family

I have laundry basket in each bedroom and wash only one basket at a time, regardless if it’s full or not. That way you don’t need to sort laundry after it’s done. You can put it directly back into the laundry basket and carry to the room it belongs to and then put it away right away.
Just the thought of the amount of laundry you have to do brings me out in a rash...lol

I'm actually so happy I never have to be pregnant again or give birth 😂 my pregnancies were all horrible and my last birth went from a home birth to an emergency c section. 😢 so yeah no more babies for me!
