I found this through Ar Tonelico (I was looking for more songs with that singer... and found Hanakisou... and from the vocal version I found this trully epic orchestral version... It was quite a journey)
I love you for these uploads. I just randomly came across her after searching for Yula Yayoi ( which I searched because someone else mentioned her ) and now I am in absolute loooove ♥-♥ I've been looking for new music/Asian music , and you have definitely got me hooked.
Akiko Shikata is the composer of this song and the japanese symbols in the title are the name of the song. I can't read Japanese so unfortunately I can't translate it to you. :')
The name of this song is "Kyuuseishu - Hanashiro -" I downloaded Shikata-san's full discography and all the english titles are there so anyways hope it helped :)
Akiko Shikata is a composer who has made both soundtracks to games and visual media, but also personal unrelated pieces of music. I'm not an expert so I can't say which this is, but I'm quite sure it's not from an anime.
It's from a 2006 visual novel called Hanakisou (Funeral of Flowers) for PC, PS2 and PSP. It was never released in English. AFAIK, there isn't a fan translation either. The manga based on the VN was scanlated, though.
Yes! The more Akiko Shikata, the better!
after listening to so many of Shikata-san I totally got tired of English songs.....
I just love her works!! everything so stunning and amazing!!!
