Man, I need to catch up on my Kokia discography. Japan c.d.s are so expensive, but I make the except for two: Kokia, and FictionJunction Live. I love how Kokia has Yuki Kajiura's composition complexity but the subtlety of any classical artist.

Can someone help me here... after i listen to her song shiroi yuki i just couldn't help but fallen in love with that voice...now this "KOKIA" is foreign to me...?
I would recommend a lot her songs from Ar tonelico: EXEC_COSMOFLIPS, EXEC_REBIRTHIA=PROTOCOL...Her voice there is just amazing, and the songs are so enchanting, also one of my fav songs of her 天使 (Tenshi), Hontou no oto, 光の方へ (her live version of this songs is beautifu), also my all time favourite song of her "fate" that song is just mindblowing and 星屑のヴォカリーズ. Her voice was also used in one of final fantasy theme called "Noel's theme: the last travel", that was the 1st song of her I listened to, and inmediately I got in love.
it's 2019 now, this song still emotionally touches me from how much nostalgia it gives me. I adored Dragon Nest, it probably was the game I cherished the most. It sadly had to die after lvl 60cap to me, yet lvl 32cap was probably the most amazing thing I must have witnessed. The story of this game was a amazing to my younger me, I had so much fun and met very great people that I sadly lost now. I always tried to get back in the game, but I sadly just live in my old vision and actually feel dead inside when I see how horrible the game has turned out now. It even closed in EU now, which I actually don't know how to feel. Should I be happy that I cannot log-in anymore to see how bad the game has turned out or should I feel sad that there is no hope for them to fix these horrible gameplay reworks of dungeons and nests. This song is a song I can never forget or leave behind, it'll always be with me. It's what hyped me for my favorite game. I love you Kokia for this masterpiece
I Agree, For me the 32cap and 40cap were the golden age of DN. The playerbase was amazing, everything was pretty balanced, it was so fun just to level up with other people and being a low level was so fun still, every dungeon entered is enjoyable and feels adventurous. But now it is just sad, nobody even knows about it anymore, they ruined everything from classes, motivation to grind, the player base is horrid now and there is no longer any value in being a level lower than the max level cap. Everyone rushes through dungeons, a lot doesn't even care about doing the quests anymore. leveling has become a drag and npcs have become meaningless. We will forever miss the old DN I have stopped playing for 3months now, and i won't be going back. -Another Old DN Player

Maybe this is a year later, but... KOKIA's real name is Akiko Yoshida. Akiko Shikata is her partner in singing a lot of Ar Tonelico song, and both are great singer ^^

Listen to Kalafina, which was also formed by Yuki Kajiura :) I like their 'Lacrymosa'
Add Kalafina to that list. Although they are disbanded, they are still one of the best
