And people say I have a southern accent , but I don't hear it.LOL

Hi Alanda!! This drawstring bag demo is really simple to follow and to stitch too !! I will stitch one soon!! Thanks for teaching the sewing steps of this lovely bag.
Just found your channel and I'm so happy I did!. These little bags are indeed simple and are just what I'm looking for to hold some small Christmas gifts for the grandkids. I can select fabric to suit each of them, too. Thank you for being very explicit in your tutorial instructions!!

And I actually haven't had a problem with the line showing even though I do live in a cold climate.

So the raw edges are just left to fray. No overlocking or French seam?
I find it very difficult to leave a raw edge unfinished, unless it’ll be encased eventually as in quilting. Maybe it’s a little ocd, but I always want those edges contained somehow!

I am a novice sewer about to learn knitting! I love this tutorial but how do you re-size to make it larger - sorry if this is a daft question.
There's no daft questions :) You choose what size you need it to be finished and add seam allowance. According to these instructions you'd add 1.5" to the top for the fold over channel and 1/2" to the side for the seam width ways. Hope that makes sense!
شكرا.
LOVE IT. THANKS!
Glad you like it!
Please be cautious using that pen on areas where it will show because the ink can reappear, especially if the item is exposed to cold.
Yes, definitely something to think about. In terms of the cold, the marks from Frixion pens will only really reappear under freezing temperatures. For this little project, not a big deal, but I wouldn't want to be using this on a prize quilt, regardless of what temperatures I was in.
cold wash will bring them back

I might be a bit late to the party but I made this today and used a dry wipe chalk marker of a similar colour to the fabric and it just dusts off.

Loved the tutorial but liked the ribbon on the side because it does not show seam line the same as down the center.
