    I love the idea of fabric gift bags. I have purchased some lovely Christmas fabric. Can't wait to get started.
    Your bag of construction is so easy. Thank you.

    My sister-in-law asked if I would make some bags for her. She had seen the few I made last year. She loves the idea. No more paper and tape and waste. I mucked around a lot last year when making a few for myself but I thought I'd better get some advice before I start again. I watched a multitude videos. Being slightly dyslexic I found that the videos confused me even more. I'm so glad I found you and your video. Now I know exactly what to do and there's much less fuss in your pattern than in most others. Someone here mentioned that we didn't have to watch you sewing. I agree with her 100%. I don't feel intimidated to sew bags now and they look great. Thanks for sharing.

    What a great gift and what a fantastic video. Huge kudos to you and your video editor. You did a great job of telling us what you were going to stitch and then showing us where you stitched WITHOUT making us watch you sew it on your machine. With editing like this, I’ll definitely be checking out your other videos. Thanks again for a well planned tutorial for a creative gift bag!

    I am so new to sewing, I should have watched first then followed along. I made some mistakes and it definitely did not look as polished as yours does, but I made a useable gift sack for at least one gift this year. I will continue on and hopefully hone my sack making! Thanks for the tutorial! I'm in Wa State too!

    I tried and tried to make a bag like this, and just couldn't get it right. Watched a few youtube videos but they were a bit difficult to follow and just not what I wanted. FINALLY came across your video and when I saw Fabric Patch, I knew that it was going to be successful!😊 I watched, then tried one on "test fabric." Came out great! I felt happy that the glitches that I'd encountered were resolved. Now I can apply what I've learned to the Tooth Fairy Bags that I'm making for our small grandchildren. I had downloaded a tooth pattern elsewhere, reduced it to size, and now can place a "puffy tooth" on the front of the bag, and a smaller tooth pillow inside. The inner pillow allows for placing the child's tooth within it, while the bag keeps it safe and secure. THANK YOU, once again Fabric Patch! You were my savior when making Jesse masks for family last year. You are truly wonderful!💖

    Oh my! Have heard about "That Purple Thang" for years, but don't have one. Obviously have never looked one up or looked at the packaging, because I NEVER knew it had an eye!!!! As they say "game changer"!!! Great video, thanks for sharing :)

      I DO have the purple thang, and never paid attention to the slit in it. No idea it can be used as a bodkin. Wonderful!

    What a great tutorial Cindi❣️. I will be doing this for sure just to try for this year. We got our Province mostly shutdown yesterday until mid January. Retail can only have 15% of people. I don’t go out much. Household only Christmas. I love your tutorials so very much and appreciate all the time and effort of everyone❣️🐾🐾💕

    I love your channel ❣️ I subscribed to your channel and I'm so happy I did. Thanks for sharing because I recently needed a gift bag but didn't want to give it in paper. I just put it in a box sealed it and wrapped it with aluminum foil. Have you ever heard of anything more dumb like? That was a good thing when I was about 14 years old. But now it's very out of date. I believe I'll put a tag inside the bag with their name on it with made it for you and put my initials on it and the date. Thank you again and I love your channel.

    What kind of fabric did you use for the bag? It looked like it was heavier than quilting cotton. Really great idea for bags. Don’t think I will get to them this year, but looking forward to making some for birthdays and other holidays. Very easy and informative tutorial. Thanks!

    Hi Cindy. How much fabric would I need to make a gift bag that would fit a queen size quilt ? I always look forward to watching your tutorials. Thank you.

      Hi..I think in the tutorial Cindy said that a queen size fits in the 1/2 yard bag. 👍

    • @TheFabricPatch
      @TheFabricPatch  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! Barbara is right. The 1/2 yard bag has a queen sized quilt in it!

      She said at the beginning that one of bags had a queen size quilt in it. Just don’t remember what she said the fabric requirement was.
