Aeroflot Business Class Experience | Airbus A320 | Moscow (SVO) - Perm

We have already mentioned that loyalty to one airline alliance pays off. One of the advantages are regular upgrades, for example due to overbooking.
If the airline sells more economy class tickets for a flight than has available seats and everyone shows up, it upgrades passengers to business class, thus freeing up seats for those who might not get it. In this case passengers with elite status have priority and they will be upgraded first.
This is exactly what happened on one of our the last flights. Ivan was given a business class seat on boarding thanks to overbooking.
This review is also special because the flight was operated by an A320 with the tail number VQ-BEJ, on which @ananastasiap flew from Amsterdam to Sheremetyevo earlier this year. So now we have accidentally reviewed two classes of service on the same aircraft!
