Thank you for this video, this is exactly what I am working on. I really appreciate the depth of your studies, it is very evident in your examples. I have a question that hopefully might turn into a video. I work from home so I spend a lot of time in my positivity bubble, but then when I go out and meet people, I sometimes start hearing all these old beliefs that eventually start to trigger me and I want to stay quiet and respect their thoughts, but it is a struggle. It really makes me feel like staying quiet because no one wants to hear me while also kinda of feeling that I will always have to wear a mask and not be able to be myself. Help! 🔮
Ooh this is such a good topic! I have a video on when manifestation becomes toxic positivity and how to recognize that. But this also deserves its own video. Do you mind if I pin this comment to see if it starts a discussion? 🫶🏻
@analucia262 I really feel you! For me it feels like in this bubble you describe I can really achieve anything, but it’s burst so easily by external and internal voices and then I start to doubt the bubble itself.. hopefully that’s followable haha
My example of a bridge of incident occurring in my life: I’m a musician and I’m not very loud. I prefer to play more intimate and smaller settings. I’ve performed a few times in bars and had terrible experiences and it really turned me away from that seven for a long time but I still wanted to perform to crowds and share my music. A while back, I got a job at a café and we hired somebody a few months after I started, who I am now friends with. They are a part of an arts collective that puts on comedy, creative, art, and open mic events that are smalller scale and community oriented. It’s very beautiful. We have since left this café, and they have invited me to play at a few of their open mic events and that makes me so happy.
So happy I found your channel, there’s been so much repetitive toxic positivity junk on manifestation and LOA and your advice has been so realistic and helpful. I’ve manifested so much in the past year but feel like I’ve run into a block now 😢
A bridge of incident I have is when I first started bartending, I I went into this really neat speakeasy-type bar and was like “wow it would be so cool to work here”, a year later a strolled in with my resume and got asked back for an interview! I got the job and it’s been a really awesome bar to work at, I met my current partner there and have a much better friend group, and overall life! I’ve been working there for a year now. I hope this kind of event continues to happen for me 💕
“Will I regret this decision in the future?” Is SUCH a powerful question, and I can’t believe this is one of the few times I’ve ever come across it. I’m (at this exact moment) procrastinating on starting something. Why? I’m not really sure. Even looking inward, I’m confused by it. I suppose I’m afraid, deep down - but it’s not an immediate fear. It’s an, “If I DO go ahead and begin learning this skill, sure, if I do the tutorial it’ll be time consuming and maybe challenging, but it’s low stakes, even if I ‘fail.’ But if I SUCCEED, and I go on and on, what if I eventually get a job and I find out that I don’t have all the skills I need for the job only once I have people depending on me to get the job done?” It’s fear, but it’s WAY down-the-line fear. (Which I never hear discussed, and honestly if you ever do a video on that kind of thinking trap, I’d probably benefit from it!) So the fear… It’s tough to overcome. But will I regret NOT doing it? I already regret not doing it sooner. Time is ticking away. My life is ticking away. (Which I feel adds more pressure which paralyses me rather than fuels me, annoyingly enough.) But will I regret not doing it NOW? Yes. Simple answer. Thank you.
I think even the far away fear would still fall under "fear of failing". I think that encompasses an immediate fear of failure or one that's far away. Good luck on the thing you're learning!
I am one minute and 30 seconds in and the fact that you commented on your uncomfortable position and told us what always up was SOOOO authentic. I love you, you have a subscriber for life please never change😊
the fact that you are hurting but still putting out your message- thank you. i had to pause the video because what?- i needed to give you credit real quick! 💐
I found your channel yesterday and got this general idea, but couldn't articulate it so well. "Is my resistance coming from fear or intuition?" What a powerful question. Thank you for your content ❤
There's something about your phrasing that really helps solidify these concepts. I've heard of the Law of Attraction before but "The Universe will find the path of least resistance to get you what you want" somehow made it click for me. THAT's why it should feel effortless. Thank you!
Applause ...The feather analogy is extremely helpful; I can see it. Secondly, I had the deep desire to take a certification course and did just that. Upon obtaining that certification, posting it on LinkedIn, companies and recruiters started knocking on my email door! My dream job asked me to interview, paid more than asking, and then made it 100% remote! 🎉🎉🎉 Such a big key - know your true self ... as opposed to who everyone around you is reflecting, manupulating, wanting you to be.
You bring lucidity to these topics through your sense of humor & the way you deliver the info . Thank you. Especially for showing up even when you’re not feeling tops.
I really want to comment here because in my life, I was successful when I wished for things and they somehow magically happened, but when I fell into a depression and just stopped wishing... my whole life has stopped as well. I can't explain it, but I never even heard about manifestation before and yet I felt like it was the right thing to do, so I did it. I'm slowing coming back to it and I'm fascinated that there's a whole theory out there about how it should happen!
Wow, I never thought about the law of detachment in this way before! It's so relatable with the feather analogy. Thanks for sharing this valuable insight. ✨
This message couldn’t come at the most perfect time! I am really enjoying your videos. This is another video I will be saving and going back to as a reminder! Thank you for sharing!
This is like the 3rd video in a row I've watched from you and I can't thank you enough because I've been having the most terrible weeks in my entire life and you have such a way with words, idk if it's your tone or how you pace yourself but it makes me feel really calm and intake the information really well to the point of while I'm watching the video to think about the situations I've been getting a hard time processing and understand what I'm needing to change, so thank you so much I think this was the missing piece I was looking for. I really appreciate how in depth you go with these analysis and your examples are the best!!!
Charlotte you are such a gem, I really needed to hear this.. can you talk about how to build up that sense of trust in the universe? I have different phases but it’s hard to believe myself sometimes when I say everything I want/need is coming to me … thanks ❤
Hi Queen, recently found your channel. Literally exactly what I was looking for. Your voice is so soothing and I feel like I’m hanging out with you on your couch. Please please keep making videos ❤ Sending you love & light ✨
One of my bridge of incidents examples was when I was trying to move out last December and randomly told people. Ended up moving into my current place in March of this year because my friend’s referral. Everything happened so fast and realized things that are meant for me comes towards me effortlessly/ little resistance. The aspect of my life I struggle the most is making career choices. Do you have work/ career related videos ? Would love to hear your take on it.
It's interesting that you mentioned the challenges of making career choices. Have you considered seeking guidance from a career counselor or mentor? They might offer valuable insights.
As someone that had no idea what I wanted to as a job, I knew I wanted to change the world. And then I went through really crazy stuff / health things, relationships, parents divorce, a lot! I then knew my purpose was to help others. Connecting to something bigger than you will keep you motivated Serving and giving back to others is key for long term career moves Utilize your gifts, passions, and what the world needs 😌😊 hope this helps a teensy bit!
You, chatGPT and shadow work are my new therapists 😭💕 thank you for helping my self improvement journey so much. It’s only been 2 days but I feel lighter already.
Please ditch chatgpt, it spits out random often incorrect information but it's also only able to be constructed because of all the stolen IP and copyrighted material that got illegally fed into it. I understand that we live in a world where it's impossible to be 100% ethical but not using generative AIs is super easy to do.
thank you for the great video. Im on a journey to start my own law firm and your videos are really helping to frame my mindset. keep up the good work!!
thank you! the feather metaphor is probably the most helpful explanation I have come across so far :) I also struggle with wanting to control things, especially on off days x) hope you're feeling better!
girl I'm obssessed with your videos and the way my Notion for self-care journalling are all linked to your videos. This has been really helpful for me.. I've been the type to anxiously chase and overextend so this has been super insightful
… Thank you for explaining this the way you do. I’ve followed Law of Attraction, Assumption, Detachment for years. As I’ve grown older I’ve realized I’m really not that spiritual of a person. I still want to have an understanding that resonates with me of how this works, because I know it does, I’ve seen it in my life. I guess it’s just trust, like you said. In what… that’s up to each individual. Your videos are very helpful!
just found your channel and so far I love it and your advice! I love your approach to combining self improvement with science and spirituality. Not one or the other like a lot of other self improvement videos I've seen. So far your advice is helping me a lot! so thank you! Blessed be!
Hey! I’ve recently found your videos and have found them so helpful and inspiring as I’m trying to make a positive shift to being a better person, being happy, and letting things go. Are there any books/literature you would recommend reading? The law of detachment really interests me having watched your video so I would love it if you had anything to recommend :)
It’s kinda like how sometimes I’ll post and forget about it and when I come back to the app there’s way more interaction than when I post and obsess over it
I really want this job I applied for I want it so dang bad I am truly obsessing about it because really I just want this oh so very bad! I’m listening to this at a very good time for my own personal life. Many thanks! 🎉❤🎉
eu preciso te agradecer por esse vídeo. de alguma forma suas palavras me tocaram e me ajudaram a perceber coisas extremamente importantes sobre quem eu sou.
I want to marry my man and build a life with him lately I been so obsessed with making that happen bc my dad is old he had me in his late 40s I want him to be there when I get married and have kids and I know my boyfriend is definitely the one I’ve prayed over it for 3 yrs and asked god if he isn’t for me remove my feelings and 2yrs later I’ve only fallen more in love but the aspect of my father not being here forever makes me feel I need to hurry it is a constant burden on my heart and I wish I could just know for certain that there is enough time so I wasn’t always worried
I had faith, only to find that there was no way for me to catch the feather because my own physicality betrayed me, on the other side of the coin I found other things I wanted are completely unobtainable. Have nothing if you don't have health or at least a supportive environment. I have neither.
I did LOA for years, unreservedly and without goalposting/judgement of the outcome, just follow that inspired action... Well... The universe actually does hate some of us.
Ah, doing the count down to launch actions doesn't override executive dysfunction nor the anxiety thanks to trauma and undiagnosed autism/ADHD + co-morbidities. I regret existing.
I was talking to my girlfren and I was like "duuude, I want cleats so bad despite having no practical purpose or use for them ever I just wanna be able to say I have cleats and maybe use them once" and a couple hours later my Walmart delivery came and I was grabbing bags from the delivery guys trunk. His cleats happened to be in a Walmart bag and I didn't notice til after putting the groceries away lel I Tried to reach out to them so they can them back but no response unfortunately
This is so much easier to follow if you don't have kids depending on you. When you're worried about having enough money to go to the grocery store and you have to tell your kids no to a new pair of shoes so you can buy food that week reality really smacks you in the face.
True especially if you start from a place of not enough. Been there. Now I begin from a place of plenty and believe in it. I play a game - can I "spend" $1M on paper in one weekend? Opens me up to the possibilities, plenty, and what I desire. It's a game that distracts me from my "not enoughness."
