Niko T When I have to be AFK while there is something happening with the rocket, I ask a friend to watch over the process. The rule of thumb being: if you see Jeb stop smiling for any reason, press the abort button, because you know that if _Jeb_ stops smiling, then you're screwed.

The first launch was still the best. None of the others got mach effects.
Kerbals die when you don't want them to, and they most likely to survive through those unlikely events.
e.g. they can survive reentry and the impact after falling from a sub-orbit. Or, sometimes they got eject out faster than light after they impact Kerbol's invisible surface.
They all died for science.
To help the one who are still alive.

This was the first thing I discovered after getting the game. Before figuring out how to use the S.A.S. modules, a rocket of mine flipped over and began hurtling toward the ground. Knowing that the rocket was lost, I ejected the kerbal to see if I could save him, but the blast that resulted from the crash launched him, as seen in the above video. Sadly he was killed upon impact... After 10 minutes of mourning / rolling around in hysterics, I promptly re-created the scene. BEST GAME EVER!

When I was testing rovers a couple of weeks ago and they were flipping over, my command seat Kerbals were going flying then as well

Of course you can. Without it there wouldn't be much content.
To my knowledge the courage and stupidity stats are what change their expressions. Stupid = unaware of a dangerous situation (smiling while their ship explodes). Courage = better handling of dangerous situations (keeping a more straight face while their ship explodes) if a Kerbal is 100% stupid and 100% courageous, they will basically be happy for the entire mission duration. If a Kerbal has 0% courage and stupidity, they will be basically terrified for the entire duration

I remember having this happen... On Minmus I think it was. something went wrong when I was lifting off, put my ship on a crash course with the surface of minmus so I just had my kerbal jump out. The force of the blast somehow propelled the poor kerbal into an orbit around minmus.

It happens when small mases colide.
More right to say, the tank colide with the ground in a high speed and kerbals (low mase) colide wih their own entity or a seat's entity, makeing them bounce in high speeds.

I used a group of mainsails to put a kerbal into a solar orbit. I saw this, was reminded of our brave little Geoffrey, and proceeded to fall over laughing,

I used the concept of the shockwave to save Jeb from a doomed rocket landing that was going sideways more than down.
