Oppsi dropsi. It was great the fix was strictly an easy unscrew, remove, clean, caulk, install and simply just rescrew back in. Except for the screw dropping and finding part. That last bit had me doing the old guy chuckle. Very nice camper by the way. And one last thing. That lady has a heavy right foot! I bet she was well north of 70 mph when the last vent lid departed the premises.

I recommend using an oscillating tool with a smooth blade for removing butyl tape. It works great.

this is awesome!! i just got a new vent for my Scotty and im waiting for a break in the weather for the install. was that the same 3\4" butyl tape you use on the windows Rob? i found your J-rail video yesterday and was wondering what size butyl tape you used on it,
