How would this compare to the kress kg760 made by positec same owner as worx

@RobertCooper-ls5qn The Worx WG761E Cordless Lawnmower and the Kress KG760 Cordless Lawnmower are both manufactured by Positec, which owns both the Worx and Kress brands. Despite being under the same corporate umbrella, these two mowers cater to slightly different segments of the market. Here’s a comparative analysis of the two models:
      Brand Positioning
Worx: Positioned as a consumer-friendly brand, Worx tools often emphasize convenience, ease of use, and affordability, making them accessible for everyday homeowners.
Kress: The Kress brand tends to focus more on the professional or premium user market, offering more robust and durable tools that can handle heavier workloads.
      Design and Build
      Worx WG761E:
Battery: Typically equipped with PowerShare batteries (such as 20V or 40V), which are compatible across various Worx tools.
Build Quality: Designed for durability in a residential setting but might not be as robust as the Kress models aimed at professional users.
Cutting Width: Likely to have a standard cutting width suitable for medium to large gardens.
Features: Often includes user-friendly features like IntelliCut (which adjusts power based on grass conditions), and it may prioritize lighter weight and maneuverability.
      Kress KG760:
Battery: The Kress models often use higher-capacity batteries, suitable for longer runtimes and more demanding tasks. The KG760 might have a higher voltage or more advanced battery management for extended use.
Build Quality: Typically heavier and more rugged, designed for professional use or larger areas. The materials might be more premium and built to withstand tougher conditions.
Cutting Width: Likely similar to the Worx model, but with a more powerful motor and potentially higher blade speed, giving it better performance in dense grass or uneven terrain.
Features: Professional features like more precise height adjustment, advanced cutting systems, and possibly longer warranties or service options.
      Performance and Battery Life
Worx WG761E: Suitable for medium to large gardens, with enough power for standard grass maintenance. The focus is on balance between power and battery life, making it a good option for regular household use. The runtime will depend on the battery size but is generally designed for one full charge to cover most household lawns.
Kress KG760: Likely offers higher performance with a stronger motor and longer battery life, making it more suitable for larger properties or more challenging mowing conditions. The KG760 is probably geared towards users who need more power and longer runtimes without recharging frequently.
      Price and Value
Worx WG761E: Generally, Worx products are more affordable, offering good value for homeowners who want a reliable cordless mower without breaking the bank.
Kress KG760: Likely priced higher due to its more professional-grade design and capabilities, offering better value for users who need more power and durability in their tools.
      Conclusion
Worx WG761E is ideal for homeowners with average-sized gardens who prioritize convenience, ease of use, and compatibility with other Worx tools. It is more budget-friendly and suitable for regular lawn maintenance.
Kress KG760 is better suited for professional landscapers or homeowners with larger lawns and more demanding mowing needs. It offers more power, better battery life, and enhanced durability, but at a higher price point.
If you are choosing between the two, consider how often and intensively you will use the mower, as well as your budget. The Worx WG761E is perfect for regular residential use, while the Kress KG760 might be overkill unless you need the extra performance for more demanding situations.

I think you had a dud. I have no trouble starting on tall grass. The engaged gear disengages when you move one rotation forward. If you want to turn around or go backwards disengage at least one wheel turn before you need to.

@@ukmorgano this is my 3rd one that is not working right 😐 from Worx they are still looking into the problem as they said a number of customers are having issues 🙄 this is not in the video, but the motor itself is very high on short grass, which should cut down to the lower settings 😉 laters Steve

If you try to start it on top of tall grass it will not start.
