This is awesome. I owned a Basebar before I bought my L-Tek so I just happen to have the same setup. I haven't tried using it yet. I'll get it a try but it looks like I'm going to run into the same issue you were having.
Let me know how it works for you! I contacted the company about the damage to see what they say if they offer me a new unit or a partial refund I will probably drill extra holes to make it slightly taller which should solve my problems. If they offer me a full refund including shipping cost I am probably going to return it and try something else honestly just because it was so expensive so to have to do mods to it that might actually not work or cause it to not be as stable isn't worth it to me for the price I paid
a suggestion for if you want to raise the bar even more, get a metal drill bit the same size as your cotter-pin, and drill to your desired height on the inner bar (use the existing hole on the outer bar as a guide), then put your cotter-pin through that
I sent the company an email concerning the damage out of the box, if they could send me another one out or give me a full refund, I might have to go with one of those options because I don’t really know how to drill through metal some people in my live stream chat gave me some instructions, but I don’t even have the equipment to do so. being that this bar was on sale and usually retails for $149 I would’ve loved for it to just be perfect out of the box and have a few more adjustment holes rather than just all the way up or all the way down which honestly doesn’t even make sense because all the way down doesn’t even need secure pins since the bar just goes all the way down anyways
@@DietDietRevolution yeah I'm shocked that there aren't intervals already pre-drilled. It would'nt add much to the manufacturing process, and would significantly improve the overall functionality of the product. My guess is they're afraid of the strength of the cotter pin, that it will snap if too much weight is applied while hanging causing possible injury
yeah this should've had another few slots for sure, being that this bar can be placed all the way at the top makes me think the weight situation isn't the issue here... probably laziness aha
