Calmodulin is a troponin like protein which has 4 valencies for calcium molecular ...when 4 molecules of calcium bind to it ..there is a conformational change in its structure after which it can act as a catalytic enzyme.
These videos are great! However, there is an error or misrepresentation in this video. When PIP2 is acted upon by phospholipase C, DAG, and IP3 are simultaneously produced. This video inaccurately implies that PIP2 can be converted by phospholipase c into either DAG or IP3. Still, these videos are excellent and it is easy to forgive the minor error.
I have viewed video after video regarding this process. This has by far been the most helpful. Thanks!
I read my note over and over again. This video helps so much. Thank you
Don't forget that PIP2 is ALWAYS converted into IP3 AND DAG whenever Phospholipase C cuts PIP2.
Thank you very much for your simplified explaination.

thank youuuu !! it's much clearer now
