The BYD Tang is very underrated. I drove it for 4 years. The 2021 version has air suspension, LED matrix front headlights, Nappa leather seats, a great stereo system and you immediately know where to put your sunglasses. Sound isolation is excellent, acceleration is impressive at 4.4 seconds (0..100). There is even a normal 230V socket in the interior in case you want to charge your notebook.
Much of this is not found in any TESLA (except camping chairs) and even the NIO ES8 I now own and drive falls short of the BYD TANG.

But I don't like the standard brake. Definitely need to go for the Brembo package.
Steering feels little bit like chewing gum.
      The seats are not good.
And the hybrid needs 16L/100km if the battery is deleted. But I like the design a lot.

@@larsradtke4097 I was talking about the BYD TANG II EV, full-electric SUV. You have to choose the flagship version as that one has BREMBO brakes, much better seats, air suspension and many more. With an 86kw/h battery the TANG is - after discount and governmental support - below 300,000 RMB. A NIO ES8 with 100 kw/h starts at 570,000 and a TESLA model X at 870,000
You can configure the steering (in all models).
I have an ES8 now and I think - compared to TANG EV - my car is overpriced.

@@thomasreinhardt3626 I was at the dealer looked at it, when she told me NEDC 580km for 100kwb pack, I thought this is a joke.
Especially when you only get 38-40kw chargers outside Guangdong. Guangxi,.Hunan, Hubei only 38.
And before I take the Topspec Tang, I would take the Denzal X, much neater interior.

I know it's a bit kitschy, but I actually love the rotating screen :) It seems like an easy enough part to be robust, and it absolutely ends the debate of landscape or portrait. I do agree with others that it should lower when in portrait orientation, but I think it's a decent feature.

The rotation is just lazy programming. It runs an outdated Android version and many android Apps don't run in landscape, so they made the screen rotating. The reflections are also bad.
