As a Me too member, I can attest to the fact that the Hasidim in New York are very small minded, old fashioned and tend not to believe when u say something happened to u. It is truly a shame that in this day and age, some lead double lives so as not to shame their family. Unfortunately, I never had any support when I informed my parents as to what happened to me. A number of incidents happened to me here in Brooklyn and in Israel. It appears that divorce's are easy game. I pray that the Chasidic communities open their eyes to see what is truly happening and not be so quick to judge nor to dismiss!
I watched the full story on Australian Story. I cried, a lot. What heart breaking lives these brave women had. I hope they now live full happy lives, and are proud of their strengths.

Malka is a monster. Doesn't matter if Malka is a survivor of abuse. Plenty of survivors don't go on to offend other people. She needs to face charges in Australian court.
It’s disgusting that the Jewish community would protect there own that harm children it’s disgusting and sooo wrong in so many levels I live in Miami and there’s Jewish people down there and I respect them to a certain degree but when I see the things they do wrong it bothers me and hurts me that Israel people have so much disrespect to other for no reason they need to grow up and stop treating other s wrongly not only that but they need to learn how to discipline those that do wrong in Gods eyes in Jehovahs eyes
Miss Dassi is a real awesome lady. Personal Courage and a defender of other youngsters. This lady will be great at whatever she chooses; teacher, doctor, attorney and if she wants be the best mother ever. Somehow survivors can become more ardent and devoted than the average person without a struggle. Much respect. A real hero. The bad person is not crazy but is really bad unlike the typical criminal. People like her don't stop. They either grow old or get caught. Australia should deal with her as a serial criminal with capital punitive measures. Has she resorted to murder or directed it. She likely knows a network of like-minded bad people. Hope and prayers to Miss Dassi from across the Pacific.

Each of these beautiful young ladies have inspired so many with coming out with the horrors they faced at the hands of a trusted official. This happens more often and in silent suffering. So many afraid they will be attacked, judged and not believed. Nobody should ever suffer this in silence or out of fear. Breaks my heart to hear how they still struggle with normal everyday life because of what they suffered. I pray they somehow find a way to find peace in their soul, heart, mind, body and religion. They deserve to live as happily as possible and not continue to have their past be a weight they carry in their lives today and in future.

When I study any close net group that enforces strict religious riturals. It's not surprising, to find deep seated and hidden abuse towards children and women.
It is only my opinion, however, this abuse of women and children is to have power over women. The power to control the thoughts and body of womem, by men and as we can clearly see, sometimes at the hands of women.
Traditionally, men are raised to dominate all creatures and humans.

She is definitely ackward for a woman but it's not unusual for women to be that tall.
Just because you cannot believe that women or females can abuse for their own depraved desires. Yes, they can and they do. The problem is probably significantly underestimated. Why because many are silenced, it is minimized and at times not even recognized as abuse and my guess is many victims never talk about it. Especially those abused by their own family members. So the real extent of it is probably greatly underestimated overall. It is the last taboo.
