I always wanted to learn how to lay a brick just wanted to learn that skill. As a diy fit man of 78 years and a reasonable diy'er I am still learning to repair my Victorian house that I bought 46 years ago. I enjoy this work and I am getting better and better. My garage which has now become my shed has decent items of tools to help me along. Enough said on the subject so I will be practising brick laying this summer as most of the jobs in my house are nearly done. Thank you to help me to get started.

how long does it take the first layer to dry?
Hi you can put another layer or course straight away but not more then six courses high in a day
you are a good teacher explaining the small details which makes all the difference to a novice well done
