Pilgrim Sumo Ac Cobra replica in for a full colour change, custom mixed gunmetal grey.
As requested in previous videos, I've tried to give a little commentary on this one along the way to show just some of the steps involved.

Greetings from Australia. Great improvement over the worse than terrible original body with more waves than the English Channel. Watching the video as you film the rear right hand side quarter panel, the paint still needs to be blocked back, flattened and flow coated to get that flat, mirror finish.
Hello to you in Australia! Thank you for the comment! We didn't go to the extent of a flowcoat on this one as it is a car that will be used, and not a show pony! 😊 There's a fine line between something the customer loves, and something the customer is petrified of using! 😂

I'm afraid not mate, I really can't remember, tend to mix enough for the first coat, then mix the 2nd according to how much the first used whilst the car is flashing off! So I don't tend to pay that much attention as silly as that may sound. I know we used 2.5 litres of basecoat though!
Fantastic workmanship, very hard to find , I've had a few grp cars resprayed it's a hit or a miss, certainly never seen workmanship off this standard before, maybe ditch the annoying music next time , well done .
Thanks Stephen, really appreciate the comments. They're a bit of a challenge from time to time a s a lot of additional steps to them, but worth it in the end. I reuploaded this same video with greatly edited audio as I got a lot of similar comments to yours, my painting thankfully is better than my video editing! 😂
Fantastic outcome at the end - absolutely brilliant.. though if I could make a selfish request; voice-overs over the top of music drive me bonkers because (for whatever reason, and this might be very specific to me for all I know!) it means I can't understand what you're saying half the time.. which was a shame as I really wanted to watch it all the way through and see the process!

Music was set at 6% and seemed fine on my phone, but watched it back on the telly and I could only understand it as I knew what I'd said! 🤦♂️😂 perhaps next time mate 😊

@4:22 Two different colours of glaze(?) fillers - any reason for this?
Yes, blue was a glaze, much less viscous and easier to spread but with a Thinner fill. Pink was normal filler, not the easiest to work with in the colder weather we were having so I was mixing between the two a little!

Doesn't have any side pipes mate 😂😂 But as it happens, the one I have in now has side exhausts and another rover v8 powered one! 😂
Do this again but kill that music. I quit at 5:00 because of this music.
