Thanks man! When I first did it I thought it would feel funny or unusual in the palm of your hand… but it doesn’t. It actually feels really comfortable. It’s a lot of extra steps - but the end result makes it worth it. 🤘
I've always thought that about the huge honkin square nightmare on Fenders, but it really isn't an issue. Seeing yours completed it immediately looked comfy.

I love that super dark wood. Special after you wet it to show grain and shine. I agree with @Robert R that inlay is sick. Are you not worried about the ebony dust? I thought is was highly toxic to breathe?
Thank you! I’m not allergic to ebony. And when I’m sawing it I mask up. Cocobolo on the other hand, forget about it. 😆
@@shockthefox I just noticed you blowing it off as you filed. I was thinking toxic more in your lungs and blood stream then skin allergies. Not that its any of my business what people do but I live with injuries and constant pain and don't wish that on anyone. So if I can get people to think about things more it may keep someone down the road from issues.
Wow. I'd never thought to do the neck in sections like that to keep it from moving around so much, was ebony hard to work with?
Chisels have to be sharp, but it’s so dense that it polishes up really smooth. It wasn’t “chippy” if that makes sense. Thanks man!🤘
