imao, in the lower cycle, erlang is harder than great sage. But in higher cycle, Great sage is the hardest for sure (mainly because in his 2nd phase, we don't have 6 relics any more).
How you can backstep when whirwind thrust.. I try to do it like you.. but its heavy attack after whirwind instead.. Please tell me the mappinh button for that.. mu controller have 2 button extra too.. Thank you
Oh right ... while you're holding X button (light ATK) to do whirwind, press Y button (heavy ATK) to do backstep without releasing X. that's why I mapped Y to one extra key, so that I can use two fingers to press X and Y at the same moment.

Higher cycles bosses have more health and dmg. His first attack, running 3 focus points smash, barely make a dent in Wukongs health bar. And the cutscene attack from Wukong took his whole heath bar. That doesn’t happen at lower cycles.

Oh, I see. after your rock solid does the perfect block (you can hear a loud sound for it), press heavy attack button immediately to release attack without charging. As a start point, I recommend you do not to unlock Bold Venture from rock solid skill tree, or only unlock the 1st level, which will give more time for perfect block. It's actually very easy. You will get used to it after a few tries.
Also the stance you’re currently in dictates the speed. Smash stance by far is the absolute worst to use as a counter attack after rock solid. Pillar is VERY situational but thrust hands down is the best all around option.

How are you doing the cloud step when you dodge backwards?
It’s the thrust stance when you perfect time the heavy attack
Press heavy attack button once while performing light attack combo just before the boss hits you
(Only in thrust stance)
How do you trun invisible like that after perfect dodge?
when use see through (press X, then follow Y) with thrust stance, if you get hit during backwards, you'll become invincible for a while.

Some of his attacks are very quick, which will hit you before Rock solid takes effect. I suggest you start with blocking his yellow hit.

This is the issue of this build: damage is kindof low. It's super hard for me to avoid his rock solid during this long boss fight. 😂

I actually tested it: Rock Solid won't be able to block damage if you're in the empty health bar. 😂
