KPU Farm Schools and Immigrant Farmers

During the 2023 farming season, members of the Zimbabwe Cultural Society of British Columbia (ZICUSO BC) joined our KPU Farm Schools program as incubator farmers. They were able to grow and distribute many types of vegetables to their community members while following organic practices. Muboora (pumpkin leaves) is featured in this video as a cultural food that is not commonly sold at conventional Canadian supermarkets.
