About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

I carry this song with me every day: I have “oh no love! You’re not alone!” tattooed on my left inner arm, and it’s in Bowie’s own handwriting. It covers scars that happened when I felt so alone.
I LOVE all of the remastered songs; just got the album in the mail yesterday and it’s been on rotation since!
Have you heard the The Doublejumps? if you like Bowie's music you'll probably like Doublejumps music too
i wanna have that tattoo too!! when i turn 18 i will definitely get it
Sending you hugs x
I have my tatto about him, just “Bowie” but is in my inner left arm too and I think this is very splendid coincidence ❤
cool u are all so cool love it❤@@demelzabeatrice1996
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, one of the best albums ever. Rest in peace, David.
The normal live version has already brought me to my tears... this remastered one is going to make sure I drown in them
Me, too. Brings tears. I miss David so much!!!
but what was the guy in the ending doing, it was just so wholesome that he said they loved him
Yes. . .i wish i was there! Born in the wrong era for sure 😕
Loads of Bowie's songs bring me to tears. I miss him so much ❤❤❤⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Saw him live in 1983, serious Moonlight tour ❤❤❤⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Wow! I am a 67 year old white English male with four grandchildren, one of which is five years old and a girl and her name is BOWIE, that's how that man 'changed the world' for me because I influenced my daughter, because he influenced me and so it goes on.
❤
❤❤❤
I sincerely hope that David knew how important this song was to so many people.

saved my life back in december.. wouldn’t be here without it.
YES !!

this song is absolutely amazing. the fact this song has saved so much people including I, is just crazy. i never thought thered be a singer that would be as unique as David bowie.
have you heard The Doublejumps? you'll probably like them if you're a David Bowie fan
I was 17 years old in 1972 and my best friend (still) called me and said “There’s a concert tonight at the Santa Monica Civic ( auditorium) and the band is David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars!” I said “Let’s go”! We went and got 3 rd row seats…
I wish 4:13 😊😊 there was some possible way to convey what we experienced that night. Mostly we just stared at the stage with our mouths open as we realized we were watching the most phenomenal performance that not only we had ever seen but would ever see. We almost truly thought he really was from Mars. We ended up going to many Bowie concerts over the next 40 years. We are lifelong fans. RIP DB
I get it . I saw the Ziggy Tour at the Hollywood Palladium 5 feet from the stage . no seats . In my top 10 along with the Wall , Quadrophenia Lamb Lies Down on Broadway Genesis , Cream Farewell , 1st Talking Heads, Dire Straits Roxy , Doors long beach , orig Allman Bros Whiskey , Gratefull Dead all night at Winterland with the Blues Bros
So much talent in one man...Singer who acts, actor who sings, and not only that...Pure genius!
this song saved my life, specifically ‘all the knives seem to lacerate your brain’. that line always felt like he was speaking to me because i’ve struggled with sh for many years. bowie was an incredible artist and he changed and saved so many lives. i wish i got to meet him :(
Hearing him scream "Oh no love you're not alone" always brings tears
* you`re
@@johnristheanswer thanks
It's so obviously based on what he was feeling at the time, but so applicable to millions of people more than 50 years later. Genuinely a perfect example of how important art is to society.
Hats off here to the backing vocals and Mick Ronson... this band was perfect for Bowie at this particular time
Have you heard the The Doublejumps? if you like Bowie's music you'll probably like Doublejumps music too
Hi @@MassiveFish-hp4pm I haven't I will check them out Thanks
The Great "Ronno" was so criminally underappreciated for his good-natured brilliance.
I'd have given anything to be the person that successfully climbed onstage to hug Bowie, no matter how fleeting!
True Bowie fans recognize his genius in writing, vocals, and arrangement.
Every song is perfect, as is, Other than preservation, one should not change a single thing.
You can't remaster a MASTER ARTIST!
I’m so glad that he wasn’t even mad at her. He’s such a good dude. ❤
One of the best songs ever written. Now I am going through one of the most difficult moments of my life and this song means a lot to me. I love David Bowie with all my heart, I am 24 years old and since I discovered his music 10 months ago I became addicted to cocaine like him. Today I have finally decided to cure myself of my addiction because I know:
"Oh no, love, I'm not alone
No matter what or who I've been
No matter when or where I've seen
All the knives seem to lacerate my brain
I've had his share of him, He'll help me with the pain
I'm not alone"
Thank you so much David.
Have you heard the The Doublejumps? if you like Bowie's music you'll probably like Doublejumps music too
Glad for you Gustavo. David hit me too so very deeply. I also identified with many of his songs. Sending you a warm hug.
@@davidnash4231 Thank you so much for your wishes. I decided to watch this concert again and I found this commentary. I am still clean after 8 months. Thank you again and all my love for David Bowie.
Well done, Gustavo, you're not alone!
The thing about this song for me is that, from things Bowie’s said, he was lost in his addictions during this time. Maybe not at his bottom here but not too far away from it. Yet he manages to exude so much hope and create a life affirming song. If you’re struggling, never give up. There’s hope as long as you still live.
Let’s remember that at his age, with those songs, most artists/ singers would be at their peak , while he had over 40 years of even more brilliant songs ahead of time
He is unique
Absolutely an extremely talented musician, actor, songwriter etc. Miss him so 😢 ❤⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
A legend of immense magnitude and so sexy!❤❤❤⚡️⚡️⚡️
Not quite, Brian. In fact, far from it, in my opinion. "Scary Monsters and Super Creeps" was David's final masterpiece, and he should have quit at that point.
@LaughingStock_ not necessarily true.. "Outside" "Heathen" "The Next Day" and "Blackstar" are undeniable masterpieces
@@LaughingStock_I don't share that opinion, he always reinvented himself and made interesting music
David Bowie has the most contagious smile I’ve ever seen.
This song literally saved my life. Thanks my heroe Bowie❤️

Certainly one of the best performers ever
Oh lord, I remember every note of that performance. A night to remember for everyone who was at the Odean that night ❤

I can not express how jealous I am as a person whose mother wasn't even alive when this happened. I can't imagine even being in the same room as Bowie I think I would die
@@Icarus_-gn2fc IAt one point during the show, I managed to touch Bowies hand for a second. But my mind thinks that he actually touched mine 🤗 It's one of the seminal moments in my life 👌❤️
¿A cuántas personas nos habrá salvado de algo esta canción?
Inevitable volver a ella de vez en cuando.

A mi, x ejemplo
I’m 65. Bowie and Ronson where my favourite musicians back in the day.
Remember thinking at the time, these artists know me and I was awestruck.
Maybe it was the acid . . . . .
Amazing how a song can feel like it was written just for you
Such a legendary performance! Can't wait for the new release.
I got the 50th anniversary Blu-ray and CD's the day it was released on 08-11-2023! ...All I can say is its Bowie fantastic! ...especially with all the remastered stuff and additional footage with Jeff Beck!
It has been released last week.
@@PeKe999Yeah it was released on 08-11-20231 ...Had mine pre-ordered for almost 4 months and on that day, it came in! ...Its highly recommended for any Bowie fan!
It's the last time he played with this band but it's still my favorite.
I'm not crying. You're crying.
Miss David 😊 RIP
Beautiful soul & absolutely fabulous

A beautiful performance of this iconic song. Bowie was and is the best there will ever be. Love you David. Miss you. ❤
My strongest high five to those keeping this channel alive with new gifts of songs and David Bowie content. There hasn't been any artist even closely impact me like Bowie's art. These are just amazing gifts to watch new stuff you haven't seen.
this song is so perfect, I've lost count of how many times I've heard it crying, at rock bottom, without hope and at the end there are those phrases so intense: "Oh no, love, you're not alone
No matter what or who you've been
No matter when or where you've seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I've had my share, I'll help you with the pain
You're not alone.they always lift me up, thank you Bowie for this masterpiece, eternal gratitude, immortal to me, wherever you are, know that even without ever seeing you in person, I love you with all my heart.
50 años después y seguirá salvando vidas. Gracias David por regalarnos esta canción.

i don’t think it’ll ever stop saving lives, i’m 13 and just discovered bowies music and this album (although specifically this song) has literally saved my life.
Greatest rock star ever IMO, so heartbreaking and emotive. Even 50 years later it's as if he is talking to me on a 121 basis. God bless

Saved my life in lockdown was too young to choose it 19 year old. God bless bowie❤
The energy in this song is incredible. He truly was a musician on another level. RIP.
this song changed me. That much is clear, for better or for worse, I'm a little more happy now than before this song. And just that minor improvement still makes it worth it.
Incredible remaster, holy heck! One of my favorite songs ever and the first of his I heard immediately after his passing so truly amazing!
One of the best album endings next to Dark Side Of The Moon, Sgt. Pepper and Red of King Crimson
One of the most incredible songs ever written. Bowie forever ❤
Such an amazing artist ❤
I cried whilst watching this, him so much. This song helps me when I feel alone and down. I miss Bowie dearly.
Thanks for this superb masterpiece. ❤️❤️❤️ We love you too David 😍 we are not alone, nobody’s alone, we all are the light rays of the same source 🌈

Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger
Then another finger, then cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling
It lingers, then you forget
Oh-oh-oh, you're a rock 'n' roll suicide
You're too old to lose it, too young to choose it
And the clock waits so patiently on your song
You walk past the café, but you don't eat
When you've lived too long
Oh, no, no, no, you're a rock 'n' roll suicide
Chev's brakes are snarling
As you stumble across the road
But the day breaks instead, so you hurry home
Don't let the sun blast your shadow
Don't let the milk float, ride your mind
They're so natural, religiously unkind
Oh no, love, you're not alone
You're watching yourself, but you're too unfair
You got your head all tangled up
But if I could only make you care
Oh no, love, you're not alone
No matter what or who you've been
No matter when or where you've seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I've had my share, I'll help you with the pain
You're not alone
Just turn on with me, and you're not alone
Let's turn on and be not alone
Gimme your hands, 'cause you're wonderful
Gimme your hands, 'cause you're wonderful
Oh, gimme your hands
It makes me cry every time. That song is so fantastic! He just screams "Give me your hand!" and literally reaches to the crowd, as if grabbing YOUR hand! i like to think that he is always holding mine. And he is always there, thinking about us and all the wonders we can be! Thank you, Bo!
Btw, i wonder who was that lucky guy who hugged him)
Thank God I was around to see and know this special man.🥰
Brilliance this. He will always be alive in my heart.🖤⭐
David et sa musique à jamais dans mon cœur 💖🎸🎶
There are no words to describe how good this is. The band on fire and the girls in the audience going absolutely haywire. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh no, loves, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! Repeating this for anyone who comes to this song at the end of your proverbial rope. Don't take a permanent way out when your pain is temporary. It gets better.
I love him forever ❤❤
