I was really disappointed he didn’t go with the first prompt. I found the Egyptian elf to be kind of boring tbh, I mean you couldn’t even tell he was drunk! I think the problem is he has sanitized the channel too much and that’s going to kill him in the end...
"Uses his broken bow as a walking stick" oh that's just gooooooood!!! That gave me chills- imagine being a small child or a visitor to the village and seeing that man for the first time, a blind drunkard using a broken weapon to support and guide him? You don't know the story but you know there is a story. That little detail, the imagery and symbolism in one object- that was just *Italian kiss* that was great
To be honest, my favorite part of this whole character design was the story behind the character. It just makes it feel like you know the character more and you get more attached to them. Love the video and hope to see more in the future. I might even join in, in the #UCD1, though I'm not really good at art, but I'm learning.
I'm not gonna lie, I'd love to see him take the characters that he is most proud of in this new UCD format and create 3d printed and painted models to have as a kind of collection. Similar to how figurines or action figures exist for beloved tv/ movie characters.. something with this amount of love and lore deserves to be celebrated. Idk, I just think it'd be cool..

Is one of my favorite videos Jazza has made and this fits right in with it, I love the stories and the progression going along with the art work it makes the piece fun and makes it interesting to watch rather then to just watch a person draw. It also leaves room to expand on that character and story. If he did like a video comic thing and kept introducing new character designs and such it would be fun.

The dirty innuendos and cheeky toilet humor is the main reason I used to watch this channel. He’s a good artist, but they’re a dime-a-dozen on TH-cam. The crazy and unique challenges also made me laugh. I don’t really like this kid- friendly art tutorial direction he’s moving in. He’s just bland now, like plain oatmeal. #Bring_back_drunk_Jazza

THIS is exactly what i loved about jazza in the past, trying new things is always a fun experience and i understand that but having him just sit down with a few words for inspiration and a medium that he is comfortable with then just getting to see him work his creative magic is ecstasy. i adore character design sessions, this one i particular is fantastic, but jazza just being jazza is why i loved this channel in the first place and i can already feel theres so much more passion and personality behind this video and cant wait for more stuff like this in the future.

THIS is exactly what i loved about jazza in the past, trying new things is always a fun experience and i understand that but having him just sit down with a few words for inspiration and a medium that he is comfortable with then just getting to see him work his creative magic is ecstasy. i adore character design sessions, this one i particular is fantastic, but jazza just being jazza is why i loved this channel in the first place and i can already feel theres so much more passion and personality behind this video and cant wait for more stuff like this in the future.
Jazza deserves soooo much more than this stupid yt algorithim... He should make whatever he wants to make and earn all the fame and love this world has to offer

Since Jazza is already a "friend" of audible, I think he should start recording these Character Background Stories and make a series of podcasts for us to listen to! These stories are so cool and I'd love listening to them 😍👍🏻 I also really liked this video, going back to the roots feels good and still very original

I love the fact that you told a whole story, while also sketching through the story. It turned into a beautiful, arching story with an interesting, dynamic character. I love this new direction, Jazza.
