I will never get tired of hearing Kanatan sustain a note. The amount of training and effort she's done to get this good really shows.
I think she is easily one of the top vocalists in Hololive, which is saying a lot considering the amount talent the other members have.
And she did all that while being deaf in one ear.

If there was any doubt before that Kanata wasn’t one of the top voices of Hololive, then Unravel cements her as the queen of sustained notes.
When she sings this way it always makes me want to cry. I always remember how her stories of how her childhood was, her r/s with her mother(sayuri?) being strained, how she wasn't really financially well off at the beginning, how she tries her best to keep up with Coco kaichou. It's like all her emotions are there whenever she sings, grateful to be in hololive as our PPT.
Seeing our tenshi grow vocally brings a tear to my eye. Love this gorilla strength tenshi

I can’t get over that first clip on how cleanly her ability is to sustain a note and not lose its richness and depth. Even to raise it in the same breath and not lose quality is astounding to me from that last clip.
And "Kakusei" from Kanata's 2nd anniversary live makes me very intoxicated.

Honestly, i love this about VTubers who are BEAST at something impressive -- Suisei and Tetris, Merryweather and keyboard typing, and now I know Kanata can effin' sing! I gotta wonder what other hidden talents theyre hiding XD
For anyone wants to check out more, her Kakusei in her 2nd anniversary live, and rettou joutou in her first 3D live is also absolutely phenomenal! She put so much into her performance and keeps setting higher and higher standards in each of her 3D lives. Kanata is a treasure really!
I would add she did another Rettou Joutou cover in a Vark live and in her 3rd anniversary her Melt cover had a really nice held note too!
