Glad she came back together for you! She sounds like my old ‘92 Cheyenne. Not sure what engine is best if you need another swap,, but a supercharged Buick 3800 would be smooth and good on gas.

I have the same problem oil pressure lower then 40 at a stop and idleing very bad at start up
25 to 30 at idle warmed up is good. Cold at idle should be like at least 50 60 psi with a stock pump.
How soon will you change the oil after a rebuild like this?
Few hundred miles for the first. And 1000 for the second is usually what I do

@s10forlife350 nope. Just an extra pair of hands to move the rods around it and I dropped it in. It's tricky but doable

The tbi 4.3's without the balancing shaft in them are really bad lol.
