Have I told you how AMAZING you are lately??? This is absolutely the best concealing process I've seen. Now I know where I went wrong. I didn't let my concealer and my smashbox primer set either because I don't have much time in the morning. I can't wait to try this!!

the primer will specially help with that as it will fill in the pores without clogging it so that the foundation/concealer doesnt sink into those pores.
@besttoro - I personally like concealing first if the area needs a lot of covering. Definitely try both methods and see which one works for you. If the area doesnt need much coverage, and foundation can cover it, then you dont need to conceal. If needed then apply concealer after foundation for further coverage. Another advantage to concealing first is that most of the time, your concealer is lighter than your skin tone, then the foundation evens everything out matching your skintone.

i prefer concealing before foundation because most of the time you choose a concealer that is 1 - 2 shades lighter than your skin tone, then the foundation evens everything out including the concealed areas. When applying over concealed area you want to use a light hand, you dont need to buff hard when applying foundation.
hey devilNangel - you will probably be the NT4. Crater scars are usually caused by acne that got really infected, and when I was really young, I tend to POP my zits which made them prone to further infection causing pit scarring. SO avoid popping zits, and just let it dry and heal.
How come I never thought to add two layers of primer? Genius. I have pitted skin and Im so jealous of people with smooth poreless skin! Im so glad I watched this. Before and after pictures got me so excited! can't wait to try this.

EnKore - I started moistening my sponge with warm green tea - I apply with the brushn the blend with a damp sponge. Also during allergy season or when my eyes are puffy I take a touch of generic Preparation-H and blend it with the cream concealer under my eye and it helps with any puffiness. Love your videos and you - you are patient and kind.
Eye primer prepares your eyes for shawdows and intensifies the color. Face primer smoothes out fine lines and pores and then allows your foundation or powder to have a matte flawless finish. It also helps your foundation or powder stay on all day. Some eye primers can be used on your cheeks before you apply blush for better pay off. Other than that they should be used differently.

Ever since I bought this MAC Strobe & Awake Concealer I felt it was waste of money until watching ur video...so it's in the application. OMG! I'm so excited. It's put to use again...love you enkore. This is an AWESOM video! I'm in the process of purchasing some primer. My question for you is what concealer would you recommend for African-American skin tones? I'm a NW45-50. I've been using Mary Kay Concealer Bronze 708, but I'm looking for something else. Any recommendations are appreciated!

if you put it right away, it will get patchy -- so leave it for a few minutes so that the powder dissolves into the cream, dust of excess, then liquid should apply well on top of it.
Don't really know much about applying make-up, I usually just put some BB cream then face powder and lipstick so I really appreciate you making this uber helpful vid. I'm a fan now :)

studio finish should work well for you. make sure to select an NW tone - thats more salmon than yellow.
