If the pc doesn't boot up after applying settings, RESET BIOS BY REMOVING CMOS BATTERY OR PRESSING THE BUTTON THAT RESETS BIOS, Re apply settings but this time leave eCLK mode default settings and the value at 100.00
AI Overclock tuner select the oc profile that comes with the ram sticks also make sure you are only running 2 ddr5 ram sticks and not 4 to achieve high speeds
Leave sata controller to enable

I have 7800x3d paired with rtx 4090. My mobo is Asus X670E-A, using the latest update 1709. Can't wait to test these settings, just what I needed.
if you dont mind me asking, what is your average idle cpu temp on the 7800x3d? I just bought mine, and seem to be hitting 70-80 and sometimes 90c degrees upon windows loadup, and then it begins to idle around 65-70c. Is this normal? it seems higher than I would be comfortable with

Just did it all, on my rog strix x670e-e 7950x3d & 4090, did not see any fps gain in dyling 2 but will try some more benchmarks. Thanks for the tutorial either way :) will give back feedback
Is dyling 2 a game? Or benchmark program? Check if your 4090 is bottleneck, you might need to use dlss3 to even get close to the cpu, watch my mw3 video 7950x3d vs i9 14900k, and you can see the 4090 and 7900xtx aren't good enough

Dying light 2 is a game were I benchmark my fps as well as cyberpunk and other games.
at the 10 day mark with no crashes, I modified to -30 on first 7 cores, and still as stable. Smt on auto gives me better performance
still having some lag spikes on my main game (black desert online) wich i can not figure out why since my gpu (in all benchmarks & main game) run at 100% so no bottleneck.
Will keep updating :)
just followed advanced settings and gained 30fps on warzone benchmarks. wow, didn’t expect that
I think this video would have been great if there was a before and after benchmarking to compare if any real improvements were made.

Each CPU has its own CO curve. Your settings may work for you and not for another CPUw.
Exactly this is a starting point it's up to the person to fine tune it to their pc

I used these settings with a 7800x3d x670 crosshair hero 2x16 6000mhz cl30 gskill trident z and it worked perfectly for a while then started randomly restarting my computer. Do you have any suggestions to stop it from restarting?

Watch the first 3:30 minutes and try those settings, see if that helps
What DRAM timing is need for Corsair DOMINATOR RGB 5600 MHZ 🤔 ???
I would just use the ram profile it comes with if it offers it, the factory profiles are usually good and even if you were to do specific timings you barely get any performance gains compared to the profile from the manufacturer, but if you really want to do specific timings I recommend going to [buildzoid youtube channel] he has tested and has the timings for various ram speeds

@@Mateo_FPS The only problem I currently experience is that when restarting it gets stuck because of the RAM and I don't know how to solve this, I only know that by removing the profile and lowering the frequencies but otherwise it works correctly.
My Mouse is lagging on Bios Menu, not smooth.

The only thing I can think of first is download revo Uninstaller and uninstall the mouse software, and then reinstall it, if that doesn't work , save your bios settings to a profile and then reset bios to defaults to see if the issue continues
At 5.24m you mention "Load x3D core flex gaming preset if you have the 7950x3D" I have the 7800x3D so i take it i not only dont press the load preset option but i also dont change anything else on this page, ie Algorithm, Algorithm Condition level etc etc..?
Correct, for the 7800x3d you don't need to do anything on that page
Hey man I am optimizing my 7800X3D on Asus ROG STRIX X670E-F. I have already achieved impressive results such as 19478 cb23 score, I want to push it further and to do that I need more information on LLC 6,7,8, I see in this video you are using LLC 8. Have you noticed an increase or decrease in Soc voltage under load and if so how much? Thanks btw :)
I can't tell you much since I don't optimize for benchmark scores, I only do so for gaming, and for gaming llc8 and auto their was no difference in performance

Should USB Audio Controller be on if I am using a usb DAC to connect my headphones into the system? or just using any usb audio peripherals in general, like a mic
Depends where you connected your Dac if it's to the back of your pc/motherboard you can turn it off, this will shut down the other usb ports like front of pc

if i'm also using 7950x3d, x670e hero, and a 6000 cl30 g skill kit, it should be safe to mostly plug and play these settings right? seems like you've done a pretty good OC and optimization without pushing things fully to the limit (-30 CO for example)
@parsa4528 these bios settings will get you to about the same fps as FC I will make an update video on bio settings and how I got it to over 500 fps in cod mw3, these bios settings are a safe plug in and your done settings , these settings I used on my 7950x3d and 7800x3d
Should I set the CPU load line for the 7800X3D or just let it auto?
Just leave it on auto, if your pc crashes every now and then , try setting it somewhere in the middle of your levels, mine has 8/set 4, my other comp has 5/set 3, etc....
@@Mateo_FPS Thank you for your answer! I have another question,in the video you suggested choosing cache in the CPPC option for the 7800X3D, but all the core of the 7800X3D has 3d-vcache. What is the point of choosing this option? Can I choose frequency in CPPC? My understanding is to choose frequency so the system prioritize to use the cores with higher frequencies. Is this correct?
@eagiedynamics1779 for the 7800x3d I saw no difference in cppc cache or frequency, so either one you will be good, do keep in mind in frequency theirs a chance it can assign a lot of tasks to your best cores and might create some stutters

It's not going to do anything, because that option is for cpus with 2 ccds,
7950x3d has "2 chips" cores 0-7 is ccd0 and cores 8-15 ccd1, what the flex profile does its suppose to assign apps fo the chip that's better suited for it, 7800x3d is basically ccd0 cores 0-7

@vahidghiasvand9087 lowers temps and boosts to higher frequency, allowing it to maintain a higher frequency longer ( better performance), just don't go past -30

@@Mateo_FPS so it boots fine. I have been having trouble with my memory though. I got a bundle from Newegg and the RAM it came with is G.skill trident z5 6400 32 39 39 32gb. And the motherboard doesn't seem to support this kind. (Gigabyte b650 auroros elite) The PC is relatively stable when I change the xmp settings to 6000 mhz under (system memory multiplier) in bios but sometimes when I am shutting down I will get an error message about memory and the PC reboots instead like it is crashing. Any clue about this?
Hi, any idea why the GPU fans go on full Speed when i start the pc and stops till windows is booted?
Most likely another app is taking control of the fans or the gpu temp is not hot enough to run at full speed, like mine don't speed up until it hits a certain degree then they go full blast

Hello. In many forums it is said that mcr should be in 'enable' position. What advantages does it provide when we 'disable' it? And even though I set mcr, the bios boots very slowly compared to my old Intel system. Are there any additional methods to shorten boot time? Thank you also for the video.
When you disable it, it makes sure your your pc does a full memory training insuring stability but makes boot time slower, if you enable memory context restore it will speed up boot times but may cause instability because it assumes everything is fine from the previous memory training , if you enable it and have no issues then great but if you start having issues turn it off, physically time it with enable and disable to compare results, it's suppose to speed up boot time, as far as booting up faster, make sure you have fast boot on and check your post delay time, by default its 3 seconds, you can reduce it, but keep in mind this will reduce the time it let's you load into bios,

It should work but I recommend you do your oc expo/docp profile first use some type of benchmark check your fps then try these ram settings next to see if you get more/less fps and also stability

@aLeb7- depends, what do you care more about, higher fps or higher 1% lows?
After changing DRAM Timing Control settings, If you are having lots of BSOD problems while booting, just leave them all auto. All of my problems solved. For a few FPS increase, it is not worth it.
Try running FCLK 2033 and UCLK=MEMCLK (1 to 1 at 6000 MHZ) VSOC 1.30 timings 30,39,39,28,68,48,496,384,384. Run your 7800X3D settings all stock except a negative all core -30 curve optimizer.

Am5 platform you can only run 2 ram sticks to get the increase speed, if you run 4 sticks it will run at lower speeds, if you are gaming 2 sticks and if your more of productivity then 4 ram for more memory

Can you do it for 7950x as well? Also, when in bios, it constantly freezes and I have to reset it. It also freezes when I try to change two settings at the same time.
I have been dealing with the problem of late startup since the day I built my pc. If I solve it, there will be a stability problem, I think I will eventually go crazy.😕
@nmnksc I did it for my 7950x as well just make sure to follow the video on my pinned comment, as far as the bios goes, try updating them, might solve your problem
@@Mateo_FPS The lower and upper values in the dram timing control are different for me.
Updating the bios has now become a nightmare for me. I worked for 5 hours yesterday(again); Windows gave a blue screen error many times, the PC doesnt boot completely, I reset the bios many times. and seriously ddr5 expo continues to drive me crazy. I'm thinking of switching to Intel.
All these situations started because the android emulators worked stable on Intel, but constantly lag on my AMD pc. This situation is either related to AMD or the EXPO affiliated with it. And expo rams are still problematic since the day they released.
I wish I could show my PC to someone who really understands BIOS and knows how to repair it by heart. Or if he told me that it couldn't be repaired and said; Run away from AMD and EXPO, save yourself!

It should work the same for your cpu cores 0-5 are 3d and 6-11 are regular, the bios settings should work the same, just look up the same names and change the settings, I recently built two pcs with different mobo and it worked fine, incase your mobo doesn't have asynchronous mode or if it crashes when you change it, don't use it and just use pbo -30 all cores, if it crashes reduce it by increments of 3 until it doesn't crash

It's mostly if you use emulators, if you use them leave it on if you don't turn them off

Yeah, try them out, if it doesn't boot up go back to the original profile, I've done these on cl30 and cl32, just make sure you are only running 2 ram sticks and not 4

@@Mateo_FPS a follow up to using the settings with CL40; I'm running a 7800x3d with an x670e MB and I made sure to follow the guide exactly, I enabled the optional settings in advanced as well and I did have to end up clearing my CMOS cause it wouldn't boot, but thank you regardless, it was a bit of a learning experience for me

@Pwnooqraphy as long as you dont mess with the voltage you should be good, the worst thing that can happen is it wont boot up, but its easy to reset your bios and be back to normal, so before you start read my pinned comment and make sure you understand how to reset bios before you begin, any questions or concerns let me know, ill try to help the best i can

did you try expo 2 profile? I got a x670e hero with corsair dominator titanium, expo 1 didnt work, but expo 2 did work with 6000mts cl30 (without expo 2 i had 4800mts too)

@kibayaiba3893 look for your motherboard manual and look for your 2 main ram slots, then install only the 2 ram sticks that came together (same box) with the rated 6000mhz, and then follow my video in my pinned comment, not this video

What is the difference you measured between preferred cache vs. frequency in FPS and latency?
Acc.to AMD's recommended settings, core-parking via game bar and game mode is expected to park CCD1 while gaming.
At least one advantage of your settings is it forces all processes to use CCD1, freeing it up CCD0 (cache cores) to fully be dedicated and utilized by games assigned via Process Lasso.

The difference between preffered cache and frequency is not much of performance in terms of fps its more of the processes, so if I set it to cache the cpu with the 3D cores will be handling like 200 processes and I set it to frequency the 3D cores would have less processes when I game, so it "should" reduce Latency and reduce spikes from a random process that uses the same cores, aside from the settings cores 0-7 will get you way more fps than core 8-15
As far as core parking, I'm still looking into because I have noticed if I run a game and I do other things , you can see all cores being used but not to their full potential, so they would sit around 25% usage but if I stop the game ccd1 cores will go to 75 -100% usage an if I close everything else and just game same thing happens, I still need to test for Latency overall I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it, according to my settings no cores are parked so when I game you can see cc1 cores are still being used

Yes, this sounds logical. I play games at 4k with 4090, upgraded (or sidegraded?) from a 7700x to 7950x3d, using core parking, hardly have noticed fps increment. Average of between 5 and 10 fps.
I am going to play around with your settings like prefer frequency and rerun my benchmarks. Once I'm done with it I will disable the second (CCD1) to emulate 7800x3d to see those results.
Editing and encoding videos around 35% faster as average compared to my overclocked (5.5GHz) 7700x, which is ok, but gaming performance so far hasn't amazed me.
@@peternagy6656 example: 7950x3d can generate up to 500 fps in mw3 but if you game at 4k and the 4090 only generates 200fps you are only going to see 200fps, so even a lower tier cpu like 5900x if it generates 220 fps you will see similar results, but let's say you game at 1080p mw3 with 7950x3d with 4090, you should be able to game like around 400fps
@@peternagy6656 if you have mw2 or mw3, if you run the benchmark and share your numbers I'll be able to know what's going on, you should be getting way more fps

The difference is the ram, I was using 6000, turn asynchronous off and pbo -30

Yes if you use process lasso to set your games on the 3d cache cores and if you don't want to use process lasso then set to cache

@christofferjensen9872 for gaming it's cores 0-5 on the 7900x3D so when you game make sure those cores are only being used or you will probably lose performance if all cores or core 6-11 are active
could another solution be to just go deactivate last last and run 6 core 12 theads? instead of 12/12 and the default 12 24@@Mateo_FPS

- Latest stock bios I was getting 17567 pts w/ Cinebench R23.
- Updated with your settings I'm now getting 18190 w/ Cinebench R23
- Using OCCT I don't see any errors. Do you recommend I keep going and increment to all cores up to -30? Thoughts on doing per core and if there is an advantage to do so?
**UPDATE**
I went ahead and updated bios with -30. Ran OCCT for 15 min and didn't see any errors. Now get the following:
18347 pts w/ Cinebench R23.

- With -35 I'm now getting 18378 w/ Cinebench R23
- I tried -37 and -40 and both are crashing my system. Will need to explore per core which i'll have to do that later.
Curious to see what others are getting.
I recommend doing per core,you will see a some performance increase

Follow this video instead and just remember on your pbo try -30 all core first, and if it crashes then -25 all core and if it crashes again let me know so I can tell you how to do per core pbo

@geekBengal it doesn't do that, I have 3 computers running fine, but if you don't like the setting disabled you can leave it on, these settings are a starting point tweak it to your liking and your computer

@geekBengal if you use specific 3rd party's anti cheat and if this effects you leave it on, I would never play a game that needs a 3rd party anticheat, those programs always lower your cpu performance especially the 1% lows, and people still cheat, to this day their is no good anti cheat
