Heard this song from wofai page and I immediately fell in love with it❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful. I don't understand the language but I enjoyed the melody of this song
I've been looking for this song ever since I came across it on Wofai's page.
I'm Igbo and I don't understand the language, but it's as if this song is speaking to me. Beautiful melody❤❤❤
Thank you very much.
I sang Isantim in 1996 with my dormitory choir at our Interhouse Music Competition at FGGC Owerri. It was so sweet to hear this again. Its amazing that it was done via Zoom by singers all pitching in from different locations. The harmony is flawless!❤
❤❤
Learnt and practiced this song as a member of the school choir at FGGC Benin in 1986. One of the houses had presented it in a choral competition at the School Arts Festival with a dance performance by my friend and classmate Andem Duke and Joyce Ntuk ( now deceased). I understand Isantim means crocodile.
Words can not really describe the mood of this piece...it's simply mind blowing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Sister
Wow.. Solid traditional rhythm... So nice. Thanks for this. Hope Powerless is well now
Well done to all the creatives on this piece ❤ Akwa-cross forever 😊
That intro is harmony at its very best!!!!!
Tradition remember same.... Old days of our great fathers b our guide... Maximum respect to legends who pass out...
Oh my oh my bringing back memories of my childhood and calabar of the 80’s🇳🇬🇯🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸🇳🇬🇳🇬🇯🇲🇯🇲🇳🇬🇳🇬🇺🇸love my Effik heritage.
Wofai made me fall in love with this song 🥰🥰 now I can’t stop coming back to listen to it 🤣🤣
highly appreciated
I don't hear the language but I'm glad Wofai blessed me with this song. It's so beautiful
Thanks
The best version of this song I’ve heard yet, obviously because these are real Efik people. Thank you for sharing! ❤🙏🏾
Waoo I really love this,am so proud to be an EfiK girl, and am also proud of guys keep it up 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I listen to this so much that my friends who aren't Efik/Ibibio know the song and sing along. They love it.
Such a beautiful song! I can't understand it, but it sounds so subtle to my ears!
Weldone to the Efik people
Parol has a nice voice in singing, people walk, goats also walk; see hippotamus has come into the land and other animals start racing, hippotamus is a bad animal, etc. This is the little I can get there.
Now I remember my Moms. Rest you both in God's bossom.
All dancers, drummers , and everyone behind the makings of this event, I say well done to you all. You all did well. God bless you all
A good tutorial for kids both at home and diaspora on our culture, and a reminder of what we could be losing in a few years unless we take concrete steps to ensure its preservation
thanks.... good observations... thanks a lot
I have watched this repeatedly. Braido, posterity will favor you for this! Bravo to the team!
I salute you Bro.
This is so beautiful. Love it so much, been on repeat. Great tribute!! Beautifully done ❤❤❤
One of my favorite versions of Isantim.
This is brilliant. Deserves to go international.
I concur!
It's the dance steps, diction and harmony for me. I don't understand a thing but I can feel the language.
This honestly has to be the best thing I've in a long time...👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I love my culture.
Thanks to all who made this happen and I pray for a quick recovery for Mr Powerless
Amen

This is so beautiful 🥹❤️❤️
Why are men wearing the mpkat etim and doing the supposedly female dance moves? Have you guys LGBTfied my culture? There better be a good answer by the time I come back
Odion no fi Jon s,go far away with your twisted mind.
@@nenebenneth6556 You're lucky I'm not back yet. When I do, all that nonsense will stop. In my culture, men are men and women are women. Our dances and arts are binary. But you foolish young people infected and remote-controlled by neo-colonial doctrines want to change everything to suit the whiteman's "sameness" narrative. You better not be one of the idi0ts directly involved in this. Pray hard that you're not
@@jon_s my bad I'm so against LGBTQ and what they stand for,I must have read you wrong.
@@nenebenneth6556 I saw many videos online of men dancing Abang and ekombi (predominantly female dances). I cannot stand it but I'm yet to know who exactly is making those decisions. If you findout anything, let me know
Thia cracked me up so much hahahahahahahahah.
