I live in country of majority Catholics but near my Catholic school and home there was a Mosque that's also near a Church so while studying the Bible I can hear the prayers from the Mosque and at some level I knew we we're praying to the same God and learning the same basic universal laws of love and respect towards everyone and everything.
I like how you felt cold and probably had goosebumps from listening to the Qur'anic recitation which lead you to naturally know this was the words of your creator. And out of respect you instinctively knew you had to draw the garment over yourself as a sign of respect. That's the fitrah, the natural inclination to recognise Truth.

When I listen to Quran and reading the meaning I always thought of all the things and sins I have done and knowing how beautiful Islam is and how Merciful Allah is towards all his servants and immediately remembering him and ask for His forgiveness and be grateful for Him

In my place, the person who gives the adzan is more commonly called as Bilal instead of muadzin.

It's not about beautiful voice it was about fearing Allah most.

I live in country of majority Catholics but near my Catholic school and home there was a Mosque that's also near a Church so while studying the Bible I can hear the prayers from the Mosque and at some level I knew we we're praying to the same God and learning the same basic universal laws of love and respect towards everyone and everything.
