I don’t understand why Anderton’s bother with all these relic guitars. No one, but NO ONE wants one… Wait? What’s that? They sell thousands every year… Well I don’t want one therefore Anderton’s shouldn’t stock stuff that I don’t want….. 😂
Pete’s playing on the Dakota red Strat was amazing, so soulful, you could really tell that he connected with the guitar. I think you should buy it Pete 😉.
I'm not a massive strrat guy, but that yellow one is doing it for me. The fact that the humbucker has the same sparkly high end as the single coils, has blown me away. Its the holy grail of HSS guitars.
Imagine the inspiration you could get just by sitting and jamming in this beautiful wood-paneled room surrounded by all of those beautiful guitars! Thank you for what you do, Pete and the rest of the staff! I watch almost all of Anderton’s videos even if I’m not interested in every individual product that’s being shown!
I know a lot of people don't care about watching unboxing but it's exciting to see new stock coming into the store. And Petes' excitement & enthusiasm transfers to this end. I enjoyed this video so you definitely get a thumbs up.👍
I agree Pete, that last CS strat spoke to me too! what a looker! Is it necessary to say how good you made it sound? no I think not......thank you for the demos
Been following this channel for a while and reliving memories of seeing some of the legends back in the day live; being interviewed. Just wondering if being over 3 score +10 years of age if its too late to take up the axe from ground zero?
Heritage 535 is an amazing guitar, purchashed last year, I've had a lot of Heritage over the years and can say they are more than well worth checking out
I'm always on the lookout for a 2000 - 2016 Heritage 535. New enough for modern electronics, old enough to have been built by one of the old masters in the shop. I just retired, so I can bide my time, but those new ones are stunners also.
@@charlie-obrien I had a late 80's 535 and changed the pups on it, was fantastic guitar. More recently purchased a new one fro Anderson's and it is I must say, superb! pups don't need changing either.. The quality is great and closer to the Gibson Custom Shop, (had a few of those too)
Dexter is a fantastic series, and if I've learned anything, its price and value aren't the same thing. I love value for money more than anyone. I've spent more money chasing value than if i had just spent the damn money on what i knew, i should've in the first place . That's a nice sponding amp.
They have loads of videos for building a rig under £1000, and gleefully show the room with the less expensive guitars. Anderton's even made a whole line of guitars to be as inexpensive as possible (East Coast) and regularly features them.
Pete, Step 1: Convince the captain to put that strat in the shop front Step 2: Remove as many trailing zeroes from the price as necessary from the tag, and put it in a visible spot. Step 3: Call your wife to come over to the store for reasons unrelated, and make SURE she sees the guitar Step 4: Say something along the lines of "See honey, this one's fairly priced, no need to go bankrupt" Step 5 (and this is VERY IMPORTANT): AS SOON AS SHE LEAVES, put the guitar away and throw away the tag. Step 6: Buy the guitar (but remember how much you said it cost, in case she asks you later about it) Thank me later
That pink Strat'! If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and QUACKS like a duck, then it's a great Strat! Interesting how your playing changes Pete, when you're into a guitar!

Unfortunately my most expensive guitar is a lightly aged '54 t-style, which is an awesome axe, but i never play it. I have not modded anything or touched it otherwise and just cannot connect.....on the other hand, i have 'cheap' guitars that i have modded, reliced and played the shit out of and i would not part with any of them.....the highend Tele can go...👋🏼😁🎸🤘🏼🎸
Buy a second hand one, that way any “relic-ing” is actually real and has history! Also it will (probably) cost less, you don’t need to worry about dinging it and you can mod to your heart’s content. Way better than the nonsense “someone in the factory beat it up and now it’s 3x the price” bs.
How is it a waste? They're not unplayable, they still function as instruments. If Andertons hadn't custom ordered them in the knowledge they have customers who will buy them, they wouldn't exist. Fender don't make these instead of shiny new ones, they make them as well as shiny new ones. Everyone gets to pick the cosmetics they prefer, and a plentiful supply of both exist. Nothing is wasted. Everyone should be happy.
Just here for the relic comments😎.

Actually the majority of guitar players don't want the relic guitars because nothing real about the relic looks...
I think they look awesome :)
I would play anything that feels great, even a vegetable.
Pink one - I think it's the coolest guitar I've ever seen. Great playing as per usual man!
That last Strat sounds incredible.
sounds like a strat
@@frankcarter6427 Yep. Except it costs 9 grand. They're just plucking figures out of thin air.
That strat blues lick was the best thing I have heard in a long time.
Danish Pete ALWAYS cheers up my day.
Such a great personality and vibe...👏👏👏👏👏👏 Andertons scored big time getting Pete in.💥
Someone LOVES that Dakota red masterbuilt...🥰
Pete’s playing on the Dakota red Strat was amazing, so soulful, you could really tell that he connected with the guitar. I think you should buy it Pete 😉.
Brother Pete, you are such a blessing... thank you for every note you share with us! Much love from Texas 🖤⚡️
Whenever there is a "Guitar Gallery" video I am always amazed to see the great selection of left handed guitars. Stunning!!!
Right... 😜
@@andertons Left
It's so ridiculous. I'm looking to get a higher-end lefty and like there is just no way to try them out without buying....
@@D34DPOND me too....so hard to find a cs fender lefthanded

Pete you absolutely need to buy that strat! Don’t let it get away!
Love this format for a vid. No special theme - just Pete showing some nice stuff in stock
I certainly haven't loved every Strat that I have played, but when they are good... they are great!!! That Graffiti Yellow looks and sounds great.
I know a lot of people don't care about watching unboxing but it's exciting to see new stock coming into the store. And Petes' excitement & enthusiasm transfers to this end. I enjoyed this video so you definitely get a thumbs up.👍

I know they are everywhere but Strats sound so good. Nothing else like them.
What we just saw was Pete bonding with something truly special with that last one.
Stunning bit of playing therePete. Nice one
OH WHAT A MACHINE THAT LAST STRAT MT, ITS YOU ALL OVER IT, LOVED THE VID, AND THE VOICE OF THAT STRAT VERY HEDRIX.
Oh My!, that Shabat Lion STP that thing is outrageous! Also all the Gretsch are to die for. WOW!!
Peter was in the Stratosphere with that last blast of Strat.
The roasted maple neck on that yellow Strat is stunning!
The custom shops making amazing sounding and looking guitars as usual!
Greg, if you ever read the comments, that strat is an 11/10. Dear lord what a beaut!!!
Oh that Gibson 335 melted my heart - great sound and great colour too 💕💕
Great video. Really hope that Pete can somehow get the faded Dakota Red Strat at the end….made for each other!
yooo the yellow 335 into that badcat sounded like BUTTER. you could tell pete was feelin’ it
pete's playing, outstanding
I thought this video may be a little blank... but then Pete did Tiger impression :D also last guitar seems like it already found its master...
Petes playing is awesome today
Man that olive drab ES is on of my alltime favs. Been eyeballing an ES in that color way to long! Also that El Gato Loco 🐈⬛ amp is pure bliss! 😆
The sound of the pink Strat. 😮
Absolutely beautiful guitars! I think Pete is high on nitrocellulose. Does Anderton’s have a support group for that?
That yellow strat will sell in about 5 minutes! Wow
6:34 No one told Pete that the captain rubs his knickers on the freshly unwrapped Gibson. That's the smell!
Been following this channel for a while and reliving memories of seeing some of the legends back in the day live; being interviewed.

On my way to check out some amps to go with the new Custom Shop in a couple of weeks. See you guys soon!
I love that Chris Cornell type of Heritage. Probably a damn sight cheaper than the Gibson version
That Tiger Les Paul...
would love to see some high end shredders like ESP, Jackson USA, Suhr, Tom Anderson..

OK the pink one wins by a mile for me. Love it!
That Shabat!
Could you do this for bass as well 😁 awesome video 👌
Great video🎸👍
That last strat sounded amazing. I think its sold to pete.
Love your videos guys.
Havent been to the store in ages. Im getting the feeling I need to come down with some trade-ins...... :)
Better get that red strat before I do, Pete! Dreams.... ☺️
What badcat amp is that, sounds lush !
Gotta love Pete smelling the master built leather guitar spec envelope 😂
lush... that pink strat is off the scale nice
Bleep the end 😂😂
I want Pete to buy that last strat. It’s perfect for him
I just wish I could play as well as Danish Pete.
I think you speak for most of us with this comment 😊
That was really fun! Hope you will take us on a tour of the Gallery again and unbox some cool guitars too. Peace
You need a guitar with Dynasonic pickups, Pete. Might as well be that Chet Atkins.
Pete is like a kid in a candy store....Me too!!
Thats a grawling bad kitty right there , great playing as always sir, Get that pink one !
Shabat weight according to the website is 9kg. That has to be a typo right?
Pete just spend the $$$ that Strat is made for you!!❤😂😅😅
You need it to match your shirt!! (Excuse you can use to justify it)😅😅
Great vid what model bad cat is the amp
Anyone know the brand of watch Pete is wearing?
It's a G-Shock DW-5610SL 👍
Love me some Mr Pete
So great playing on the "silver Tele" from about 1:00 Minute runtime.
Shabat Justin Derrico is my dream guitar... going back to sleep!

Gimmie' ALL. DAMNED
Hope Pete gets a great deal on it as for some strange reason I don't think he's letting that one go...
@14:38 when you realise you now have to justify spending thousands on yet another guitar to the Missus.
Nice
Dakota red is the new PINK 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Steinberger?
Per favore fate altri video come questo....

Pink one is probably gone already into Pete’s locker.
I wonder if anyone in the comments has any spicy takes on the merits of relicing?
Pete really makes me pissed off we don't have smell-a-vision yet!

It rubs the VOS finish against it's skin, or else it bends the string again
Has anyone ever dropped anything in that room? Apart from lots of money 😉
That Gibson 335 though…
It’s cool they put the sidewinder rattlesnake on that guitar. I keep one as a “pet” and they’re beautiful animals!
Bubble gum strat is tasty
slash had a snake on his signature les Paul neck
Not a single left handed guitar in that room 😔
6:43 but only woman with a slim tapered neck
That last one will be gone fast!
I will never endorse or buy a single pickup guitar. Feckin' cheap skates.
Yep all with Fender.. Epiphone and Gibson body styles.. nothing original
OK OK OK

can someone PLEASE write some new songs

I prefer to relic my own guitars, with my tears as I pay the loan every month
Those relic guitars look like they need to be chucked in the bin.... To this day, I don't understand why people pay money for them.
They sound better ;)
That red strat sounds the closest to vintage I've heard from any of these videos.
Who looks at a single pick up guitar and thinks...yeah...nice
unbox some more Teles instead of these great Strats
I hate the "aged" guitars. What a waste!
