We in winter of 62/63 here in the UK on our farm became totally dependent on our TED20. We were snowed in deep from late December 62 untill March 63 with the temp not rising above freezing. Our 20 was already 8years old and was retired in favour of more modern larger diesel tractors, but we did not have winter additive in those days and waxing of the fuel was a constant problem. We filled the Fergy with hot water every morning put the starting handle and away she allways went first or 2nd crank. She ran all day every day carry milk churns and milk bottle crates across the fields often on top of packed snow taking our milk out ,because our lanes and access road were blocked In the afternoon ,the little grey taxi was loaded up with as many as 12 or 14 conventional hay bales to feed our outlying cattle and sheep in need in continues relays usually till dark.Them on returning to the home farm, the water would be drained and the engine shut off, 7days x 8.5 hrs = nearly 60X3month staggering 180hrs solid running ,for and already hard worked little motor. If we had not have still had a spark ignition tractor, and a light little prime mover like the Fergy we might have had to abandon the farm!

hello,is the ignition light on your ferguson original or have you replaced it? If you have replaced it, can you tell me where i could find one.
