  • 1955 Ferguson Plowing Snow
    - started with a shovel
    - then a snow blower
    - then various small garden tractors with a blade
    - then a blade on a pickup truck
    - finally got it right with a 65-yr.old piece of equipment, LOL!!!

Your tractor sounds exactly like my dad's old Massey Ferguson 35, so this is with a gasoline powered engine?

      Yes. Gas.

When the 3pts is at the top you dont have presure for the loader its normal because thats the way they are desinged
The draf control lever has a double feature near the top of the quadrant you have a neutral position and then you have the constant pumping position so that way you can leave the position control all the way up and still ha e presure for the loader

Anxious to give that whirl. I did watch the old 50's instructional video on TH-cam but I suffered serious brain-fade when discussion of the draft control came up. Thanks for the info.

Front plow was made by a previous owner likely decades ago. I welded on a mount for the tilting cylinder. This year I have a 7' wide blower on the back. First snowstorm rolling in tomorrow. A little nervous if it'll work as I don't have chains on this year. Of course, I'll film it, LOL.
