Yes!!! I have several published works online and the ones written in first person are exactly that. I have one written by an 80-year-old man recounting his encounter with a group of devils back in his 20s, and there are a bunch of small details which he doesn't remember. Lots of bits are very vague and exaggerated, but it makes for both a fun read and an enjoyable time writing.
I finished my novel recently and I basically did that, but also my narrators were very clearly biased, like “honestly, his mom is a punk-ass bitch, but I don’t possess physical form so I can’t punt her like a soccer ball into the sun”

I once read a book where the author made two characters look, sound, and think exactly alike. At one point in the series, they’re arguing and the author is doing a he-said she-said thing, and at some point he just says, “ ‘(I forget what the guy said here)’ said whichever one was the other(don’t blame me, I’ve lost track too.)” Not even making this up. It’s the Brotherband Chronicles by John Flanagan if anyone’s wondering.

German (I'm German) Yellow.
There were obviously more, but those are the main ones.

Edit: this is also completely colour coded by favourite subject and the actual teaching of said subject; History is one of my favorite subjects, so it gets my fav colours, purple and blue are often seen as magical colours and that's also the class were we sometimes learn mythology.
Science is a second favorite and gets a second favorite colour; it's also the class where we learn about ya know, science, and one of the parts of that is often plants, and plants are green
English is a neutral class for me, I'm indifferent about it, so it gets the colours I'm indifferent for. Also you highlight crap and one of the most common highlighter colour is yellow.
Math,,, I hate it so it gets my least favorite colours, also in a lot of diagrams of what to do, red is the colour showing you what you do in this step of the problem.
