to be fair the guy in the video chose the most subtle and most boring foreshadows. Also the subs already make a lot get lost in translation, so if u rewatch in dub u'll loose even more of the foreshadowing
The speaking titan in Ilse's notebook resembles the blonde guy from Ymir's backstory, one of the guys who prayed to her when she was telling them she was a royal.
first episode foreshadowing was missed here as well, first the title of the episode and second, he saw a dream of his mother getting eaten by a titan, things yet to be explained, 1. Eren's titan punching Mikasa 2. Eren's speech when he was about to eat Annie in the season finale 3. So much focus on birds 4. why are there so many animals in S2 OP there's actually an easter egg scene where eren, mikasa and Armin are are arguing as kids when mikasa punches eren and shoves bread in his mouth. You can see a person resembling future Eren standing beside them. 4. Flower one was explained, when founder ymir was shot with arrows, she looked at that flower and was crying.
"this guy is reaching too far", dunno man, where im from, if theres something in episode17 of season one thats used for a reval in the next season we call that forshadowing
I'm shocked that so few people mention that Erwin's plan failed mainly because the scouts who were on the trees decided to go against orders and not kill the titans, and instead just making them "stuck" trying ot get them on the trees. If they had killed them, Annie's scream wouldn't have done much.
Original video animation, abbreviated as OVA and sometimes as OAV, are Japanese animated films and series made specially for release in home video formats without prior showings on television or in theaters, though the first part of an OVA series may be broadcast for promotional purposes.
And as the name says, it's ORIGINAL. That means, most of the time, not based on their source(comic, novel, movie, game). They make an entirely different style of the story. Usually for fun purposes. Like for fan services. But for Shingeki no Kyojin, obviously their OVA contains so many informations about the story. Kinda like fan service, but not the lewd fan service one.
@@DBT1007 except at least three OVA's had source material. Ilse's Notebook was in the manga, No Regrets was a light novel and Lost Girls was a light novel as well, and all of it prior to being adapted into anime of course.
The guy literally missed so much In s1 ep4 when cadets were training martial arts Reiner sayed to Eren “it’s your turn to he a bad guy”, giving him a knife Eren’s dream in s1 ep1 When Eren was fighting Annie inside the walls he literally said “I’m gonna destroy the whole world”. Also when he ripped off Annie’s right arm and threw it it fell exactly near Erwin, foreshadowing that he’ll lose his right arm In s1 ep1 at the frame where is stated the name of the episode you can clearly see Marley on the left side and Paradise iceland on the right one and also sheep between them. That one is the craziest for me
@@paradox5384 Well, can be, I thought it is meant that it would be foreshadowing FROM s1 and s2. I mean, we get to know who the warriors are only in s4 too, right? But still there was the whole section about them. And Erwin lost his arm in s2 tho, so the guy definitely missed that 🤷🏻♀️
One of my favorite foreshadowing moments that this video missed was when they are in cadet training and Eren and Reiner are practicing hand to hand combat. The scene starts with Reiner attacking Eren with the knife and Eren disarms him. Reiner then hands the knife to Eren and says, "Now it's your turn to be the bad guy" and zooms in on the handing off of the knife. Really good depiction of Reiner and Eren's similarities as characters and the handoff of who is seen as the bad guy in season 4.
Also if you add a bit more to it; the lyrics of the Rumbling OT specifically reference Eren "never wanted to grab the knife", which is also a reference to him saving Mikasa by killing the sex traffickers who killed her parents and kidnapped her.
Ilsas notebook titan thought it was ymir from the scouts. He was part of the people who were worshipping her back in Marley. And was turned into titan after they found them out. Ilsa just resembles our ymir

I'm not saying English Dub is suck, but it definitely lacking what Japanese Dub greatly have, and it's a full devotion of being the character. English voice actor only chosen because their voice fit the character so their voice just stay as it is. But Japanese voice actor chosen because they said they will do. Remember your previous video where you were surprised that Armin's voice actor is a WOMAN. Japanese voice actor can change their voice based on the character's they've dubbed. And the character's that dubbed on different series will completely have different vibes even they were dubbed by the same person. Try reacting Japanese voice actor's compilations and you will understand what I'm talking about. See you on the last part of AoT
