      She might be the most talented too guard to ever touch a basketball court.. He had the explosiveness the touch around the basket the range. He could hit you in the post. Too bad you just didn't have a great organization around him..where you drafted really makes a big difference in your career. Give him shack and Phil early in his career or Tim Duncan and Greg popovich early in his career.. I promise you he has multiple rings

The poses after a dunk, (The Charisma of the 2001 dunk contest he would display in Games After a highlight) The way he would hang on the rim and spin off to the ground, the way he nonchalantly did amazing things and let out Furious ROAR or OWWW or just simply walk away back on defense with no emotion as if its just easy for him. Even him leaving and kicking our ass as a Nets player, I can only wonder what would have happened if we catered and built around Carter and TMac more back then. First player to play in 4 different decades, Vincanity and Mr Air Canada, still one of my fav players of all time. While Lowry, Derozan, and Leonard might be considered the best Raptor players (or at least to wear the Jersey), none can compare to the impact that Carter had. Vince was ungodly this year and unless you actually watched it youd have no idea. Here is a few of his stats people dont look into from this season
    #2 in PER
    #1 IN OBPM
    #2 IN BPM
    #3 in VORP
    #3 in OWS
    #5 in WS
    had below a 10% turnover rate when he was top 5 in usage rate which is phenomenal . 55% TS against the league norm of 50%.. a 114 ORTG against the 102 league norm . Metrics were also superb +11 on/off ...shit 41% from dee9 on 5 attempts a game when shooting 5 3s a game was nearly unheard of as a league norm . Great passer. Shoot off the ball or pull up in your face from anywhere . Had 92 blocks as a tenacious help defender. The youngins dont understand that at this time vince was the premier perimeter player in the league and many including myself will tell you THIS year and in 2000 he was better than Kobe. Better than tmac . Better than ai . Better than ray allen . Any of them that had similar numbers either had way lower shooting %s or another great offensive weapon to play with them. Vince was all alone . He was the Raptors offense. Only comparable was Iverson and he shot 32% from 3 and barely cracked 43% overall. Last but not least the leaping ability. He was the phenom face of the league during a time where social media didnt esist. Had this vince played today hed be as popular as lebron doncic Kawhi curry and so on if not more popular ( didnt say better just more popular )

      Turthfully should have been MVP over Iverson that year. AI led the league in scoring and steals per game, but if you look at all the effecincy numbers you mentioned and factor in the very high turnovers AI had, Vince clearly had the better season.

    As a Toronto native, let me tell you it sucked missing so many of these back then. I feel like only 20-30 Raptor games were shown back then.

    Way more than a dunker, top ten three pointer, inside scoring, can create his own shot, and unselfish, Vince is one of the greatest and at one point was thee best player in the league/ world.

      @@yilguy you mean entire the ONE month he played for TOR? that's a stretch. Also, what would you do if you are requesting pieces for conteding and they bring you Rafael Araujo and Rafer Alston?

      @yilguy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you say Kobe without ring you have to fill those words. Cant even be on the same phrase with one of the most competetive guy ever. By the way he played with Bosh in 2004 season and He was not Araujo

    Lol. 29:39-29:43. Vinsanity was lighting the Nets up so much... that Johnny Newman was looking for a pick/switching opportunity, that wasn't even there. I guess he was thinking "Please somebody else switch on to him... I'm tired getting these jumpers rained in my face." Lol. 1/2 Man 1/2 Amazing, aka, Air Canada.. was a whole nother level, in the 2000-2001 season. Definitely transcended to Superstar status, during this season. Oh. And he finished his degree that year as well. He and Jerry Stackhouse.

    I miss this era of basketball. Vince, T-Mac, Kobe And AI with silky smooth jumpers without the stepback travel. This is precisely why this era can't be compared with years past.
