Correct me if I am wrong here but, didn't Sentry discover that his main source of power has been matter manipulation all along to an extent and his range of powers comes from that. He can basically think what ever powers he wants into existence or something. I love the surfer but, I think sentry destroys him based off the surfers defeats.

N R I understand experience being a factor however Sentry now being aware of where his powers stem from make him that much more powerful. It seems like the only way anyone is justifying Sentry losing is by claiming experience. SS lost to ww hulk and Sentry went toe to toe with world breaker Hulk. The arguments being made against Sentry are all circumstantial. If both were fighting at full power Sentry takes it. It is also fair to point out that SS's powers are completely dependent on him being a herald of Galactus.
jblevins90 Well that's why Sentry usually loses, its because of inexperience and the fact he fears losing control of his power so much so that he can probably never perfect it, it's that fear that leads to the inexperience that inevitably leads to a loss.

Jack Strife, You're absolutely right, he's needs to be featured more, but with what little he has been shown to do should earn him more respect than he's been given. Instead, it gets questioned weather it happened or not. Half the things Superman has said to have done should be questioned but it doesn't. Someone who stopped a celestial from stomping the earth, broke Terrax's weapon, killed the god of WAR, fought World War Hulk and Galactus to a draw(with or without help) and beat the Molecule Man should get way more consideration than this. it can go either way. my disagreements are, silver surfer is not on par physically. and the molecule man argument. you can't mental stability as a weakness for sentry and then discredit mm without doing the same. mm is also inconsistent. every comic book character has inconsistencies including norrin.

Comic FoXX sentry at one of his weakest and most fragile points in comic history due to suppressing the void managed to stalemate the Hulks most absolute strongest form. Imagine if they had a rematch anytime after Sentry learns about his molecular manipulation powers. Sentry is an absurdly overpowered plot device and the writers know this, so they used his 'stability' as an excuse to keep him balanced for storytelling purposes. However, Sentry hasn't had that issue for a while now since his Deathseed rebirth.

Sorry. Sentry stalemated Galactus off panel and he did defeat the Molecule Man version that was going toe to toe with Beyonder. Current MM is way too powerful for either. He ripped Ares in half easily and was beating Thor like a drum. Thor could not "kill" Sentry if not allowed to, and Thor has had the upperhand in battles vs SS. Sentry also may very well be the Angel of Death. Sentry wins this.

If the Sentry doubts his ability to win then he will lose. This is his greatest weakness. If the Sentry can keep the surfer from his board and do the most damage why its apart this is his greatest strength
Personally i think Sentry would be able to defeat the Silver Surfer, He has defeated or Stalemated beings like Galactus, Molecule man, Photon(Genis), Serpent(Odin's brother), The Collective and The Void his dark half recently said to be capable of destroying the multiverse, In terms of Skill with Matter manipulation Silver surfer DOES indeed have him beat since sentry has lack of experience However, Sentry's raw power is FAR Above Norrins, He defeated molecule man with is own ability and was said to have more raw power than him, He is even comparable or Superior than HOM Wanda both Iron and the Dark Avengers said if Robert had a mental outburst he could cause another HOM.
