I've rebuilt quite a few 250T engines back in the day, but never had the opportunity to rebuild a 400T engine. These videos are great and bring back lots of good memories.
You have no idea how much this video helped me i put new valves on my 1978 hond hawk cb400 and had no idea where to put the Cam bar I redid it atleast 12 times took days😂😂
I enjoyed the video. Makes me feel I could attempt similar work if I had to. I am working on a 1978 Honda Hawk II. I would have liked to see the result of the machine shop's work, i.e. what a fixed hole looks like
This is a little tricky for me , so you have to take the cam gear off of the camshaft to get the timing chain off to take the head off does it matter which way the cam gear goes back on when you rebuild it please answer back asap please I really need to know this is my first time working on this kind of engine
Hi yes it has to go back on one way, take notes of how it can off. Phones are a great way to keep track. If your not sure check online there's a lot of info out there hope this is of help
