Great series. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing your thoughts and answers. I agree with your assessment of the North American pullers. From my experience, many of them do not use well thought out training routines and exercises. Only a small number of athletes even understand basic strength training principles to begin with. I also believe that many of our most promising athletes end up in different, much more popular sports. Football (American), Wrestling, Baseball and Basketball tend to absorb most of our biggest/strongest/most promising athletes. I also chose to go the route of collegiate wrestling. I saw how freakish some of those guys are. The potential financial benefits of those other sports far outweigh the fun factor of armwrestling (for the vast majority of our up and coming athletes). If we could siphon a percentage of those athletes we'd have much more potential coming out of North America. I look forward to your future videos 💪.
Do you think that Europe doesn't have other sports that soak up the best athletes? Bullshit. Those are just excuses. The problem is that americans like to drink beer with their buddies during practice, and do some dogshit training at home. They are not professionals.
