    Nice video. My heat blows even where the AC is on. I changed the thermostat and housing etc. Didn't fix it. I thought from feeling this excessive heat my transmission was getting hot, I went to get the tranny checked. It was fine, he said that would almost be impossible to happen unless your transmission was basically blown. Anyhow I searched the tube and found your video. I will try the same replacement as you. My circulating button flashes like yours did. And actually sometimes when I turn off the car, there is a clicking from the dash. I hope this works... Thanks for the information!!

      It's probably what it is. Mine wasn't opening so I had no heat. Now its a smooth operation. ✅

    The bottom line is you got it working and that works for me too bro, a couple of suggestions to make it easier putting the screws back, try a magnetic driver or a poor man screw holder using a piece of tape, (punch the screw thought the tape and tape it to the shaft of the driver)

    • @beezy9beezy
      @beezy9beezy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah my biggest problem was I couldn’t see where I was putting the screws, I definitely needed another magnetic screw driver though, I had one, with the extendable head and it was jammed inside, rough times

    My 2012 charger, same actuator went out. Nightmare getting it out. I’m big so it was difficult. I took the wires off last. Big mistake. Take them off first like you did. The charger uses t20 screws. Your probably uses the same. I tried for an hour to put the new one in then we got a forest fire down the road. So had to slap the dodge back together. I’ll try to put it in again later. At least I have air conditioning again at the beginning of summer. How did you get your unit back in? Next time I just may pay a shop to do this one.

      I ended up laying on the floorboard on my back and putting it in upside down. I had to use a magnetic extension screwdriver head to reach it, it was a pain but it worked out in the end.

    Great video. My heater isn’t working either. It actually starts blowing heat then switches to cold 🥶 hopefully it’s just needs coolant

    • @beezy9beezy
      @beezy9beezy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I was hoping at first too, got the coolant flushed, didn’t work then thermostat changed, didn’t work so trial and error brought me here lol

    On the driver side, there's 2 actuators,do you know if those 2, are the same actuators/part number?

    • @beezy9beezy
      @beezy9beezy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t know for certain but I think it’s the same, I actually tried this one for both, the one that was easier to reach from this angle of course wasn’t the fix so I tried it on the harder to reach one and it worked

    Hi
    Do the little lines on the actuators have be lined up some specially way. You pointed out the grooves on the gear, as well do they have to be a certain direction? Thanks

    • @beezy9beezy
      @beezy9beezy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly, it was a bit of guess and check, they need to be lined up but it’s very hard to see if it’s line up or not so i put it in, started it and tried it out
