Great jacket! Looks great on you. You really have developed experience and knowledge in this jackets hobby. Always interesting to hear your perspective on this. Keep on doing what you do 💪🏽
Love your videos Del and perfect jacket there! A bit out of my budget though. Any similar ones you recommend in the $800-1200 range? I like shirt collar and silver/nickel hardware in black leather.
@@James-id5xq yes I put several in the description! Aero Highwayman, Schott 688 or 689h. Now is a great time to buy from Schott they’re doing 15% off with code FAMILY24 ends tonight I think. Would appreciate you following one of my links if you decide to buy from them!
So what are the temps when this jacket can be worn at? I'm actually getting it " custom ordered" from the Avenue in the size 42. That said they couldn't/are not willing to swap to the sating lining when the jacket will be made. I'm in California. Therefore, I'm seriously planning on having the lining replaced with Dena.I know that she will do a great job. Also the jacket looks great, maybe a bit long for classic 30's standards. That said the fashion is clearly different today and I wouldn't be comfortable if it were any shorter.
Well it’s getting into the 80s here. You may check in with JCSD as he has one and lives in what is probably a similar climate for you. Agree about the length being longer for the period but good for now
I'm 5ft 11", so I was wondering what your body measurement is and what size of jacket you're wearing. Same for the Iron Heart fitted jeans you're rocking. I love clothes that fit perfectly. Thanks. Great video by the way!
Hey Cyril. I’m 5’9” 175 pounds just over a 40” chest. I’m wearing a size 40. The iron heart jeans are the 634s-14ii double indigo and they’re a size 34 If you’re interested in the Hercules I actually started selling them as the only US vendor last year. I’ll be opening pre-orders in May/early June. The standard hercules is slightly longer than the one I have here, which would probably work better for you considering you’re a few inches taller
That’s a beauty for sure. Perfect fit in my opinion. Great idea for your hanger! Is that swimming noodle material or hot water line insulation from the hardware store?
Heck yeah. I actually made a video about it (Don’t Ruin Your Jacket). Putting foam on the hanger fills in the space and lets the jacket hang without forming creases over time
There are none in the USA. I’ve actually gotten this question so many times I’m working on selling them myself. You can currently buy from Recall Clothing in Switzerland or Japanese sellers
Another great jacket review Dell. Thanks. Not too long or short. I could ride in that. Man I hate that oversized Justin Beiber type look. It’s just a fad.
@@DudsByDel what about the shoulder to shoulder? I've seen different numbers for this jacket online. I'm 5'8" 162lbs with approx 39 chest, so I'm wondering if I should get a 38 jacket or 40. Thank you in advance and keep up with the good videos! :)
About the length, in my opinion - too long is when: A. You’re sitting on the jacket B. It can’t be closed on the waist area because of a snug fit/cut, but it would closed from above the waist if the jacket was a bit shorter C. The overall shape/ silhouette of the jacket on the body looks weird This is not the case here, You’re jacket looks perfect on you
Great looking jacket , perfect length
Thanks Nij I’m with you!

Appreciate it David!
Great jacket and fits you really well

Air conditioning. I live in Palm Springs , also I have a lot of Vanson Perforated Leathers for the motorcycle Summer months
Hah yeah I do use the air conditioner to let me wear jackets, it’s true

Solid fit with a tee. Would you be able to wear a flannel under this jacket?
A lighter flannel, light the Pendleton woolen ones, works great
He puts it on at 5:20
True dat

Thanks Jon! Yes it’s pipe insulation from the hardware store

Would you ever buy a leather coat? Or not your style?
Yes I have considered it. Like the Aero Barnstormer or Addict BMC (style like a Barbour International).

Are you adding foam cushion to your hangers or did it come like that when you bought the jacket
I added it to
Where can I purchase one? I can't seem to find a Rainbow Country retailer in the US.

What’s the pit to pit on this jacket
