I did a trip to Wollombi today, then to my favourite boutique winery - Tumberlaine Wines, followed by lunch at the HVG at Pokolbin. From Wollombi to Pokolbin, I decided to go the slightly longer route via Broke to see if I can find the pebbles you left at McNamara Park. Happy to say, I found two out of three. Kept one (couldn't decide which one to keep) and return the other one back to where it was hidden. This was like a treasure hunt. Great art BTW. 👍
Awww that's so exciting to hear, love that you kept one and put one back for someone else to find. Hope it brought a bit of fun to your road trip. Cheers Marg
Hi Lynda, I've appreciated the positive response for a cookbook and have been working at putting something together. Hopefully our next video on YT and via Instagram, I'll be able to make an exciting announcement. Cheers Marg
I love this episode! How brave you were! We’ve been following you guys for ages and love your adventures both with family and just the two of you🤗 You’re an inspirational cook, and I just love watching your episodes, they make me smile!
Forgot to thank you for watching our episodes. The week before going away I worried but surprised myself. If camping close to Sydney, this is the place to go.
Great stuff! Go you for doing it alone. I would definitely love a cook book! Everything you make looks delicious! Cute the boys turning up for the 2nd night.🥰
Thank you, that’s a lovely compliment, our camp food is always such a delicious delight. Appreciate the kind feedback. Having Steve & Nick join me was the best, sitting around the campfire the first night by myself was pretty lonely, it’s so much better to share the experience with someone.
Love your channel and your van Mildred - she is a trooper! Definitely a taker for your digital cookbook - you come up with ideas I never would have thought of. Loved the Soup in a Bottle and the Baked Apple in Puff Pastry which I am making tonight but alas not in the camp oven. Thankyou for showcasing what we have in our own backyard. We were feeling for you in the Wattagans episode as we owned a property backing onto Boundary Road where all those potholes were... never has been properly maintained (we used to run a Horse Riding stables for trail rides in the mountains) there some years ago. Must also add that your photography and drone visuals are excellent.
What a fabulous comment, thank you so much Elle for your kind words. I hope you love the baked puff apple as much as I did, so simple but looks so good when all golden - don’t forget to enjoy it with dollop cream or ice cream. Cheers for the thumbs up on a digital cookbook, I’m working on it right now. Kindest Regards Marg
Well done Marg . Glad to see you getting out there yourself. You most definitely should make a cook book. We are always commenting to each other on how great you are at planning and utilising your small fridge and limited space . You have some really great simple ideas . 😊

Hi Wendy, after receiving such positive feedback I released a digital cookbook via our Coopernook TH-cam video. You can also find details via our Instagram page, search for Gibbo's Road Trip Adventures. Thanks for taking the time to comment, much appreciated. 🙂
Thanks Michael, I’m working on a digital cook book to hopefully make available soon. I’ll announce it on our Instagram account Gibbo’s Road Trip Adventures, otherwise when we next go away.
Thank you, let your lovely wife know that with the feedback received from last night's video, I'm definitely going to make my digital cookbook dream come true.
Thank you, I’m going to create it and it will be digital so you can download it to your mobile or laptop, or available to print a hard copy to keep in a folder to take away with you.
I generally camp solo (w/my dogs), as my other half is not too keen. So, good for you for not stopping you getting out there. You should stop by the Budgewoi Boat Ramp at Budgewoi. Then take a short walk along the walking path (that goes around the point not far from the boat ramp). The path is lined by various (100s) painted stones like what you do. Some of them are works of art, and some are very clever and funny. They go on for about a kilometre. You should add a stone (or two) of your beautiful work to the collection.
That’s awesome, I’ll definitely check it out some time this year. Our good friend lives in Budgewoi and plays in a band called Roll Again, we might come up next time they are playing at the pub. Such a fun band who play covers and Budgewoi is so beautiful by the water. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Good on you for traveling with your dogs, it’s a shame your wife isn’t into the camping, I think I it’s the best. Cheers Marg
