    What a beautiful spot Chaffey dam. On my list for sure, Can't believe how green the country side is. Love the Kleva very clever!

      Hi Lynda, the countryside was so beautifully green and lush, almost like it was enhanced in a photograph.
      I'm loving the little Kleva and keen to try other recipes in it, it's just so easy and surprising how much it actually can hold. If you've got one, please give the coconut rice a go, it was so good.

    Great video once again. Those little town campsites are so good in NSW and they let you have fires. Must admit travelling the PDR many places have restricted camp fires and we haven't been able to use our camp oven as much as we thought (still have a few lamb shanks in the freezer). Hope the rain stops for you soon. Cheers Sharyn

      @gibbosroadtripadventures  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@sharyns.shenanigans I think NSW, Vic & Tassie are so lucky to be able to have many camp fire days. When we went to SA in summer, we were a little lost without our evening camp fire and in WA you couldn’t have one until after Easter in April last year. When you return from Qld you should have plenty of opportunities to use your camp oven. We managed to escape the rain last weekend and thankfully temps & weather this week have been awesome. The coming week has a few hot days predicted … so it’s time to shave the legs. 🤪

    We missed u guys by about 3 degrees of separation at the Linga Longa Pub we were there on Saturday for lunch, We were camped up at Glenbawn Dam and yes it got quite windy. Liippy and I love the videos keep up the good work

      So close Matt - if you ever do see us, please come and say hello. Such a great area with lots of options for camping. I think I asked Liippy on Instagram if you guys had visited the Wash Pools where we camped once with friends which I think would be awesome in summer. We never seem to stay too long in the one place, I think the longest we've stayed somewhere was at Big Brother/North Haven at the beginning of the year.

      @@gibbosroadtripadventures Yeah we went out to the wash pools on Saturday b4 the pub and the water was going crazy over the weir, absolutely love the look of it and the grass was sooo green was great to see. We’ll be planning something out there in the New Year after Tamworth music festival in Jan.

    • @gibbosroadtripadventures
      @gibbosroadtripadventures  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh that sounds like a fabulous idea - have you been to the music festival before. I'd say the wash pools would be much calmer without all the recent rain and you could just chill. It was pretty mild when we went and very funny watching our 50+ guys having a dip during July last year. Cheers Marg

    A little disappointed that you drove the highway and not the back road from Gundy to Nundle, or back other way. Through Barry station and Hanging Rock. Maybe worth looking at next time.

    • @gibbosroadtripadventures
      @gibbosroadtripadventures  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@brettgregory8457 steve was thinking of going that way but we had transmission lights coming into Gundy and after a quick chat with our mechanic, decided to stick to the main roads. We still enjoyed the country drive.
      Not sure if you make TH-cam videos but maybe you could show case it some time.
      It’s funny, the little reference maps I put up aren’t always the way we go. I add it purely for the location to get an idea of where we are in the State.
