    Thank you very much. I am a big fan of this series! I do think that the answer: "So what exactly is your question?" (even said with a big smile) is very direct. And probably not appreciated in countries like the UK. Maybe something like "I am sorry. I did not get the question" Or how could one say it more indirectly?

      Another ways is to summarize the question (or what you think their question is) saying something like. "Im trying to rephrase here, so if I understand it well your question is...."
