It’s different when the kids have a relationship with their father sis. Now as we speak they are with him for the weekend. The divorce settlement supports him having access to his kids. He’s just not willing to be responsible financially. It’s hard but that’s the sad reality. Infact the 2 cases are different.

The divorce on its own is a big change for them, I’m not willing to downgrade my kids. I will fight until I get a garnish order. The only time I’m going to downgrade my kids is if he is dead or unable to provide. For as long as he is working I’m not willing to take care of my kids alone. I’m willing to be a regular at the maintenance court until I get that garnishing order.

They are so irresponsible, I raised my children by myself. This government is not serious about men living up to their responsibility. I went to the courts, they could not help me. I learned to accept that he will not pay for his children. Thank God they are adults now. I had the same problem because even when we were married he would not pay for his children. My heart goes out to all the single parents, because cost of living is getting worse by the day. I pray for all single parents every day.

Its been 5 years now with him not seeing the child and just getting that maintenance with no increase, I just told myself, I don't want to go through this whole drama and energy of this person. Last year he said, if the child was with him he was gonna buy her Christmas clothes so now that I am not coming home its a my doing... I said dude its on you, nna I am having the best time of my life in Cape Town with my child. I will never follow up on that man to assist with anything because he doesn't want to, you cant force a 42 years old man to take care of their child. When your finances are not in order and when you are black listed it affects your wellbeing emotionally , mentally, psychologically and physically. as a single woman it becomes YOUR problem to carry cause somehow men can simply move on and buy things and do things, i dont know how but you as a woman you become stuck. Your credit score gets messed up and you end up paying more interest when you are buying cars and assets because of this. Divorced men are the most bitter and revengeful partners and they are inconsiderate. They always use non payment to punish their ex wives. Yhuuu i know these tricks all too well. Yeses. And it is not always because he cannot pay, in most instances he simply does not feel the obligation to , he just doesn't want to , he wants to see you suffer he does not care.He does not want to see you move on in peace and progress without him.
